Well, this is a take.

Not a great take. Not an attractive take. But a take that is on-brand for Leftists today.

Let’s forget for a moment the catastrophizing about the war on gays in America, which is not actually a thing. It is totally invented by the Left in order to distort how people view the fight over alphabet ideology’s invasion of the public schools and private spaces reserved for women.

The gay rights battle is won and has been for a long time. Nobody is going to reverse any of the laws protecting gay marriage or gay rights of any kind. They know that. This is about transgender ideology, and nothing more.

What was striking to me was the reference to Pride being a riot, and how militant the video that accompanies the statement. The Left is always calling out supposed “dog whistles,” and needless to say this was not just a dog whistle but audible to human ears.

Rioting got us our rights. Our rights are being threatened. Therefore…

The HRC would of course deny that interpretation, but if you look at the facts on the ground it is pretty clear that this is exactly what they mean. Transgender activists have been invading capitols, harassing and even assaulting speakers, and even held one hostage for several hours in San Francisco.  A transgender mass murderer shot up a school two months ago, and protesters went to the Capitol of TN and called her the 7th victim.

The White House–three days after Audrey Hale shot 3 children and 3 adults, said this of transgender kids:

“Fierce” and “fight back.” I suspect that this is exactly how Audrey Hale saw herself. This was not a message calculated to reduce the tensions.

It was calculated to exacerbate them. She knew what she was saying, and said it anyway.

Perhaps you think I am overinterpreting the HRC’s message? Perhaps, but I am pretty sure I am not given the past 3 years’ history. In 2020 were constantly told that riots were democracy in action, and vital to public health. Seattle’s riots were described as a “summer of love” by the Mayor of the city.

Riots are as natural to leftists as breathing. Walk into any liberal nonprofit or Democrat office and you will find a poster with a raised fist, and likely even a Che Guevara poster.

Political violence is the bread and butter of the Democrats. They revel in it. When the Minneapolis riots broke out it took days before the Democrats even tried to stop them, and that only happened because the tax base was being burned down. Neither Minneapolis nor St Paul is close to recovering.

So no, I do not believe that there is an innocent, non-violent explanation for the Human Rights Campaign’s tweet. They are calling for riots, and chances are good we will see them this summer.

You may remember that Rep. Pramila Jayapal of Squad fame suggested that riots might be in order should Biden agree to spending cuts in a debt deal, because rioting is what Democrats do. It is the adult form of a temper tantrum, this time with Molotov cocktails and murder.

Nancy Pelosi herself wondered aloud why riots weren’t more common given how awful America is, and nobody blinked an eye. This is how Democrats talk and think, so there was nothing notable about it in the least. Kamala Harris raised funds for the Minnesota Freedom Fund to bail rioters out of jail, and those funds have been used to get violent murderers out of jail to kill innocent people.

So it goes.

In the midst of all this, it is Republicans who are labeled “fascists,” because we just want our kids to be left alone.

That’s unacceptable to the Left. They believe your children are theirs, and if you won’t give them over they will just take them.

Rioters need to be punished–and not just conservative rioters, as the Biden Administration seems to believe. If you riot there should be consequences, even if you are a liberal.

If the Human Rights Campaign wants riots, they will likely get them. Rioting seems to be a fun night out for Leftists.

It’s up to Red state governors, at least, to ensure that when the trouble settles down, those rioters are in jail where they belong.
