Mayor Eric Adams has made his anger at President Biden over the migrant crisis very clear.

Good.

Proving that the DeSantis/Abbott strategy of busing and flying migrants to Blue cities is working, more and more mayors and governors are speaking out against current Biden policies. Someday, perhaps, the political momentum will shift decisively against the president’s policies.

In the meantime, though, the crisis is growing.

Adams has revealed that nearly 50%–so far–of hotel rooms in New York City are now housing migrants at city expense.

This explains why the city planned to house migrants in public school gymnasiums–a plan that has been suspended due to parent opposition, for obvious reasons.

Meanwhile NYC Mayor Eric Adams said 50% of city hotel rooms are currently filled by asylum seekers — and the city is having a hard time finding any other room at hotels for them.

“Almost 50% of those hotel rooms are being taken up by migrant asylum seekers, that we’re paying for,” Adams said. “So instead of money coming from people who are visiting us and spending and our tourism and our Broadway plays, instead of them using those hotels, we are using those hotels.”

He said the city has reached out to hotels and many say they don’t want to get into the shelter business.

“Many of them are going to price points that is just too high for tax payers to pay,” Adams said. “Many of them are not suitable for housing or migrants.”

New York City is famously a “sanctuary city,” but as you would expect with all virtue signaling the signal was the purpose, and the virtue is meant to be entirely abstract. Virtue signalers expect others to pay the price for their high moral standards, and when confronted with the reality that everything has a cost they whine, blame others, and eventually crumble if they aren’t saved from the consequences of their beliefs.

Adams is still in the whining phase, mostly. He is blaming Republicans, and Biden a bit, and he is desperately looking for somebody to bail him out of the crisis. He is begging other counties to help him by accepting migrants, but if NYC has trouble with a few thousand migrants, less populated areas will crumble more quickly.

You may recall the controversy that erupted in January over migrants trashing a 4-star hotel, rejecting the free food as unappetizing, and having sex in the stairwells. It was a scene out of a third-world hellhole because we have been importing the third world into America.

Refugee camps are filled with squalor, which is why in the United States we have opened hotels to the migrants. We want to avoid having scenes broadcast of poor people living in tents or out in the open, surrounded by trash.

So instead, apparently, we are turning hotels into squalid whorehouses.

What most people don’t seem to grasp–and this is because the Administration and the MSM don’t want you to–is that this is not a refugee situation where women and children mainly are fleeing war or famine.

These are young men, for the most part. A few women and children, but the majority are single men. And given free room and board they live like unsupervised teen boys.

What can’t go on forever won’t go on forever. Something is going to break, and the breaking point is approaching.

But not as fast as you think. One of the hard lessons in life is that the actual breaking point–rock bottom–only arrives after catastrophic damage is done. Horrible things go on much longer than we can imagine. The momentum of madness is easy to underestimate.

Biden won’t stop until he is out of office, either in 2025 or 2029. No amount of complaining from fellow Democrats will stop him or his Democrat successor because, for some reason, they want this invasion to happen.

As Adams has pleaded with and then criticized Biden, the result he got was not help from the Administration, but a slap in the face. Biden dropped Adams from his campaign team.

We will not stop this madness by reasoning with the Biden team; they are committed. If they won’t listen to fellow Democrats, they certainly won’t deal with anybody else.

Defeating them is the only alternative. Trump, DeSantis, or Mickey Mouse. Any Republican is better than no Republican in 2024.
