Justin Trudeau is much better at gaslighting than Karine Jean-Pierre. He is smoother, more feminine, prettier, and verbally stumbles less.
But some things can’t be covered up.

Oh, sure. The Canadian army didn’t put everybody into camps with Mengele-wannabes to inject every Canadian, but they pretty much did everything they could short of that, including freezing bank accounts, arresting people, taking people’s property, and silencing opponents in order to force everybody to get the jab.
Doing evil in the name of good… and you not only supported this, you helped bludgeon all dissent into submission and silence.

Canada did indeed have vaccine mandates. You weren’t outright killed if you didn’t get the jab–but the government of Canada imposed such serious restrictions on your ability to make a living or travel that many of the most basic things necessary to live a decent life were denied you if you refused.
You were also vilified by the government, your neighbors were encouraged to hound you, and to a great extent, you were excommunicated from society. Even to this day, unvaccinated people can be denied basic medical care in Canada.

Justin Trudeau is now admitting that COVID vaccines can cause serious side effects and justifies his policies based upon the common good.
This is all well and good, but millions of people had natural immunity and the medical community knew it, and each of those people who were forced to get a vaccine in order to participate in society despite that fact was subjected to unknown risks for no reason at all. No benefit to them, no benefit to society. None.
It is a basic principle of medicine that people should be given information–all the information–before they are asked to consent. And it should be free consent, not coerced.
No government in the Anglosphere gave even a nod to this basic ethical principle, and they don’t deserve to get a free pass and a license to lie about what they did today.
We were lied to constantly. We were coerced. We were silenced. We were humiliated. Some of us were beaten–in Canada–for objecting. Lives were ruined, businesses destroyed, and yes, some people were maimed and killed by the vaccine requirements.
I am a big believer in informed consent and am happy to defer to others about their choices to get or refuse the vaccine based on true and complete information.
Not one person who was given the vaccine was actually given true and complete information. Not one. We were lied to about the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine. It was all lies.
I have little doubt that some people with serious comorbidities benefited from the vaccine. But most people didn’t. And some people were seriously harmed or even killed by it. For no benefit at all. COVID was going to be a bad cold for them. And guess what? COVID was a bad cold for them once they got the vaccine.
Don’t gaslight us about what the government did or did not do. It bullied people. It is still bullying people. It harmed people for no good reason.
I, for one, will not forgive these politicians who knowingly lied then, or are knowingly lying now.
