Susan Rice is one of the more malignant figures in recent years, and she is out of the White House at last.
There are conflicting reports about the reason for her departure. The White House says she is stepping down, while others are suggesting that she was pushed out the door. In support of the former is her departure date a month from now; in support of the latter is that she leaves behind an unbroken record of failure.
Not that the latter seems to matter in the Biden Administration, or the Obama Administration either, where she oversaw numerous disasters.

Under Obama, she was the National Security Advisor and UN Ambassador. Under Biden she served as Domestic Policy Advisor. In neither role did she do a single good thing. Her record of failure is long, unbroken, and in some way likely to continue.
Susan Rice will step down as White House domestic policy adviser, President Biden announced Monday, praising her work on some of the more divisive issues for his administration, including immigration and health care.
Rice, 58, previously served as national security adviser and ambassador to the United Nations under President Barack Obama, and was reported to have been considered as Biden’s running mate in 2020.
Biden instead named Rice to serve as his top domestic policy chief, a decision he acknowledged Monday “surprised a lot of people.”
“Susan was synonymous with foreign policy,” Biden said in a statement. “But what I knew then and what we all know now — after more than two years of her steady leadership of the Domestic Policy Council — it’s clear: there is no one more capable, and more determined to get important things done for the American people than Susan Rice.”
High praise from Biden, which is proof positive that she was a total disaster.
She has been “credited” with driving Biden’s domestic initiatives through the government processes, so you can thank her for inflation, the border mess, the Inflation Reduction Act (Green New Deal in sheep’s clothing), the radical social policies, and every other hideous thing that has happened domestically under Biden. She likely played a role in our foreign policies as well, rivaling Ron Klain in influence.
Bill Clinton, to his credit, wanted to intervene in the genocide in Rwanda in 1994. Rice stopped him. “If we use the word ‘genocide’ and are seen as doing nothing, what will be the effect on the November [congressional] election?” she asked during an interagency teleconference”

In 1998, several million people died in what came to be known as the second Congo war. Rice later consulted for Congo, and intervened to water down a Security Council resolution that strongly condemned the M23 for widespread rape, executions and recruitment of child soldiers.

And recently, it was Susan Rice that developed the Biden policy that failed to track thousands of unaccompanied minors that illegally crossed the border, many of whom were abused. https://t.co/AFFcQXBzYe

Rice leaves behind a long string–too long to go over–of disasters. Which undoubtedly means that she will get a cush job at a ridiculous salary and retain enormous political influence for decades to come.
There is always a reward for the destruction wrought by Leftists.
As chair of the Domestic Policy Council, Rice was responsible for overseeing a vast policy portfolio that included economic mobility, health care and immigration.
Biden credited Rice’s efforts with helping to expand the Affordable Care Act, enabling Medicare to negotiate lower prescription drug prices for seniors and to cap the cost of insulin at $35, taking “historic actions to reduce gun violence,” and increasing access to child care and long-term care, among other achievements.
Immigration, though, was where Biden praised her work most. that, and “equity.”
On Monday, Biden had only words of praise for Rice’s work on immigration policy.
“We reversed the harmful immigration policies of the previous Administration, reunified more than 670 children separated from their families, and rebuilt the broken system of care for unaccompanied children, putting their safety and well-being first and foremost,” Biden stated. “The list goes on, and would not have been possible without Susan.”
At the outset of Biden’s term in office, Rice was also tasked with ensuring racial equity was incorporated into all of the administration’s policies.
If all this doesn’t make you wretch, you have a stronger stomach than I do. Clinton, Obama, Biden. That’s like going from Solyndra to Theranos to FTX.
Good riddance doesn’t begin to describe my feelings, although don’t expect anything to change for the better in the White House. Given Biden’s propensity to hire ever worse advisors expect Jeffrey Marsh or Dylan Mulvaney to take over her role.
