A new 15-minute hate against Matt Walsh has kicked into high gear. Think of the coordinated and slimy attacks on Clarence Thomas x 20.
A slew of pretty obviously coordinated strikes at him occurred all at once. YouTube demonetized him for his Dylan Mulvaney videos, costing him $100,000 a month. Somebody–it may be a Daily Wire employee, in fact–posted information on his phone and apparently facilitated a break-in to his Gmail account that goes back decades. His Twitter handle was hacked as well.
And a Wired magazine reporter solicited and posted that hacked information on Twitter, leading to his being banned.
Wired, of course, is pissed and denies that he did so, but the screenshots are all over Twitter proving he did.
It’s an earthquake of massive proportions for Walsh and the Daily Wire, although they are not helpless to fight back. In the long run, the leak of the emails that will occur could have the biggest effect. Think about what has been in your emails over the past couple of decades.
First the YouTube demonetization. It is a very big deal and will cost big bucks. Walsh is one of the most popular commentators on the channel, and that translates into big bucks. Over a million dollars a year. And while they did point out to him the videos they object to, they didn’t specify exactly why they object to them.
I think we know why, of course. It is no surprise that the videos they point to are all Dylan Mulvaney-related. They Dylan Mulvaney who visited with the president, who is every corporation’s favorite man cosplaying as a female.
.@MattWalshBlog responds to being demonetized on YouTube:

The Daily Wire is not the biggest media outlet in the world by a long shot, but it has significant resources. The CEO, Jeremy Boreing is a brilliant businessman and actually fun to watch on the Daily Wire’s Backstage show which airs about once a month, featuring Jeremy and the Daily Wire hosts. I highly recommend it–my wife even asks me about when it will be on next. It is that good.
The move to Twitter will be an interesting experiment as well. Elon Musk is trying to lure content providers, and Walsh could turn out to be Twitter’s Joe Rogan analog–an anchor worth real money to the platform.
The phone and email hack is, in the long run, a much bigger deal. First of all, what was done was almost certainly illegal, and perhaps an inside job. Somebody had access to Matt’s phone and used it to access Gmail. Decades of emails are out there somewhere, and undoubtedly some of them will be embarrassing. I know my emails and DMs contain things that I wouldn’t want out there, and I am pretty plain vanilla (I LOVE vanilla, BTW. Most underrated flavor ever). I assume that the same goes for Matt.
The fallout from that will be unpredictable, but you can be sure that it will sting. And not just for Matt, but for the people who did this and those eager to harm him.
People like WIRED reporter Dell Cameron, who upon hearing that the emails and Twitter account were hacked, solicited information from Walsh’s Twitter DMs. Twitter banned him right away, as posting hacked materials or soliciting it (he did both–posting a screenshot of Walsh’s phone with the phone number and email access codes right on the phone screen) clearly violate Twitter’s TOS.
WIRED Statement on Dell Cameron's Permanent Twitter Suspension:
WIRED learned Wednesday afternoon that senior reporter Dell Cameron's Twitter account was permanently suspended after he reported on Matt Walsh's Twitter account being hacked. 1/3

We have not received any further explanation from Twitter and our attempts to reach Twitter's press office were met with the customary poop emoji. We ask that the account be reinstated, and that Twitter provide an explanation. 3/3

This is complete BS, and they know it. Although they are standing behind their claims even though the evidence is out there for all to see.
Typical MSM lies. They have a big megaphone so they will try to drown out the truth.
As you can see he spread the info needed to hack into Walsh’s accounts (Google, Microsoft, and Twitter) and solicited more information from others with apparent glee.
This is how they roll. And WIRED is backing up the story he didn’t actually do this. Amazing.
Just to give you an idea of WIRED’s wokeness, I went to do a search on their website and this popped up as the default search box:
I kid you not. You can’t even search the magazine without getting a suggested political message. They call this journalism.
As anybody who has followed the censorship industrial complex knows, it really is all about the information flow rather than actually just censoring speech they don’t like. They feed you what they want to know through hacking, leaking, spinning, etc., using legal and illegal means, while suppressing what they don’t want you to see.
Both of these tactics are in use here. Demonitizing Matt on YouTube and using strategic leaks to harm their enemies.
Most people are unaware of the long-running campaign against Matt. You see the insults and characterizations but don’t see the death threats, doxing, stalking, and other tactics used against him and other conservatives. But they are there. It’s just that when any liberal gets a whiff of criticism it becomes proof of a violent terroristic campaign by White supremacists, while genuine terroristic campaigns against conservatives are ignored or treated as the proper consequences of being deplorable.
This is how the game is played. Even when I was a very minor political player here in Minnesota I was demonized, threatened, and targeted. A union hack for the State Patrol compared me to the tax protesters who killed a State Trooper years ago. That was scary–the State Patrol Union magazine compared me to a cop killer for opposing tax increases.
I have no doubt that The Daily Wire will give as good as it gets. They are not shrinking violets and will pursue whoever did this to the full extent of the law.
What scandalous information will the hackers find in Matt's email? I do not know. I'm sure I said things in my twenties that I wouldn't feel great having aired publicly.
What will @realDailyWire's response be to things 20-year-old Matt may have said?#LOL

First, @MattWalshBlog was demonetized on @YouTube for violating some opaque, arbitrarily applied standard or another related to speaking the biological truth about Dylan Mulvaney.
I can't be more specific because the capriciousness is the point for these platforms.
— Jeremy Boreing (@JeremyDBoreing) April 19, 2023
At the exact moment @MattWalshBlog was being hacked by criminals, @michaeljknowles was being evacuated from @PittTweet because of a violent riot protesting his speech in which trans activists and sundry other leftists BURNED MICHAEL IN EFFIGY and tussled with police.
— Jeremy Boreing (@JeremyDBoreing) April 19, 2023
Do assholes on the right make death threats against, say, @AOC? Sure. And damn them for it.
The difference for us is that virtually every institution in public life agrees we should be removed and silenced.
— Jeremy Boreing (@JeremyDBoreing) April 19, 2023
We're continually fact checked. Almost all of the fact checks are removed on appeal, btw, but not before they have the desired effect of stunting our reach and effectiveness and making it impossible to earn revenue.
— Jeremy Boreing (@JeremyDBoreing) April 19, 2023
The entire advertising industry creates bogus, euphemistic policies to "protect brand safety" by discouraging advertising on shows with "controversial political opinions."
— Jeremy Boreing (@JeremyDBoreing) April 19, 2023
Jeremy has much more to say, but you get the point: it is a constant, and constantly escalating campaign to destroy anybody who dissents.
And what you don’t see is the parade of smaller content providers who work to build their platforms and, once they get traction, get demonetized. And YouTube gives the smaller guys even less of an explanation than an outfit like the Daily Wire.

Like it or not the Left has a stranglehold on the media landscape. We here at HotAir have been targeted by big corporations and secretly demonetized, which is why we constantly ask for your support. It keeps us working because the Establishment wants us gone. We rely on our VIP members to keep running our own platform.
It is a rough-and-tumble world in the public arena. There are bad actors in the conservative world, too. But the fact is that such people don’t have massive institutional support in the way Leftists do. Find the conservative who does what Maxine Waters does–literally sic a mob on her political adversaries. Waters is one of the most powerful politicians in the country, and she is an advocate for terrorizing her political enemies.
The left endorses mob rule. Antifa, BLM, the people who attacked Riley Gaines, and countless others who use violence and intimidation to get their way.
They control the culture and the White House. They control the MSM–remember, WIRED insists that their reporter didn’t do exactly what we can all see he did, and they will likely get away with it. Only conservatives will call them out, not their colleagues who will gleefully spread the hacked materials while decrying Twitter’s banning of the reporter.
It really is as bad as I keep saying. These are truly bad people.
