Laughable: Equality Florida warns that Florida is "unsafe"

Equality Florida wants you to know that it is safer to visit Chicago than Florida.

Yep. Florida, where you have to keep your pants zipped and stay away from the kids. It’s appalling.

Perhaps this is why nobody goes there anymore.

This is, of course, all part of a coordinated campaign. “Coincidentally” a Florida immigrant group has done the same thing, warning that Florida is a hellhole for immigrants.

Yep. Florida. Immigrants are fleeing!

Have they ever been to Miami? Is anyone there a native-born? I think immigrants like Florida fine.

This is how the Left works. Everything is a campaign, and while I haven’t looked into the funding sources for these groups I would be willing to be quite a lot that if you followed the money it would all lead to the same group of Leftist Democrat donors who have decided that destroying Ron DeSantis is job #1.

They are terrified of him, and they have reason to be. Because, despite what the “Florida Immigrant Coalition” claims, people of color in Florida like Governor DeSantis just fine. It turns out that being an excellent governor pays political dividends.

The coordinated campaign goes far beyond these “grasstops” groups that exist to do the bidding of the Left. Expect news stories to be generated by these fake warnings, and think pieces to follow about how DeSantis is scaring gays and Hispanics by sending brownshirts after them. This is just the Leftist propaganda network doing its job.

It’s all lies.

Grassroots organizations are actually pretty rare in politics, although not non-existent on either side of the aisle. Most so-called “grassroots” organizations are part of some large propaganda machine that exists solely to push a narrative–sometimes one that they believe in as well, and often just a political messaging machine that cares nothing about the truth at all.

Local Tea Party groups were very much grassroots, and there is one here in Minnesota that still meets regularly and is funded by its members. At the height of the Tea Party movement, though, more than one national organization was centralized and entirely a political creation of big donors.

These two groups are clearly the latter kind–messaging machines that exist to create opportunities for compliant media outfits to repeat their fake charges and riff off them.

The Left is far better funded and coordinated than the Right with such tactics. They flood the zone with fake news and pretty much own the mindshare of the MSM. For every genuine conservative voice in the MSM, there are tens on the Left side of the aisle.

Everybody who is remotely politically aware knows that these “warnings” are fake, but look who amplified them (I have no idea of his politics, only his position). USA Today:

You can bet that the truly Left media will amplify this endlessly.

What is remarkable, actually, is that conservatives remain competitive in the public realm. The Left HAS to spend all this money and effort to barely edge out the conservative messaging. And, as with DeSantis and Youngkin in particular, they haven’t yet been able to successfully bring them down.

Conservatives will never be able to replicate the propaganda machine of the Left. There isn’t enough money to do so. Even if we could invent the groups we can’t duplicate the reach of the MSM, and Fox, which is popular, is never going to compete for total reach. It is one network.

Still, even a somewhat better effort at getting our message out would pay dividends. We are competitive already because our message is more aligned with people’s day-to-day experiences.

Nobody who has visited Florida believes it is a fascist hellhole. People love it. Even Democrats vacation there, and apparently, Gavin Newsom is so enchanted that he loves to visit.
