Another week of insanity calls for another week of memes and funny tweets.

I don’t know about you, but after spending uncounted hours reading and writing about the news I am finding the growing insanity exhausting and depressing.

Of course, God gave us the Sabbath to remind us that life is about more than drudgery; it is a gift that needs to be celebrated. And few things can revive our souls more than a hearty laugh.

The Babylon Bee’s being kicked off Twitter inspired Elon Musk to purchase it. While that was a horrible financial move for the billionaire, it was a good thing for the future of free speech.

This is an excellent reminder that humor serves multiple roles in society, one of which is to hold the powerful accountable. Mockery can be a powerful weapon when used in the right hands.
