First of all, being gay doesn’t make one a pedophile. Just as being straight doesn’t prevent one from being a pedophile.

But pedophiles have latched onto and benefited from the alphabet ideology, and the normalization of unconventional sexuality has opened up a big space for pedophiles to let their freak flags fly. They aren’t even “pedophiles” anymore, but “minor-attracted people,” complete with academic defenders and interest groups.

All you need to do is look at the “literature” being pushed at kids in schools, the sexually explicit shows and materials aimed at children, and the sexual education curricula to see how perverse the current expansion of permitted sexual expression has become. In a world where children are sexualized, don’t be surprised when children are sexualized.

One of the reasons societies develop fairly strict conventions regarding sexual behavior is that the boundaries of potential sexual appetites go far beyond what is healthy or socially desirable.

Social norms put a lid on the unlimited appetites of human beings, which is a good and necessary thing.

As we have normalized extremely deviant sexual behaviors–usually within the rubric of the LGBTQIA++ movement–pedophiles have gained a lot of social space to experiment with and practice their desires. It’s easy to find without looking very hard. Just follow Libs of TikTok on Twitter and you will get a small taste of how the basest of desires are indulged in our society.

This turned out to be the case with one of Mayor Pete’s “mentees,” College Park Mayor Patrick Lewis Wojahn. Wojahn was an advocate for and icon of the alphabet tribe. He isn’t incidentally a mayor who is gay, but a performatively gay mayor who was adopted as a symbol for a movement.

Wojahn was an LGBT activist with deep ties to the White House. He was a strong supporter of Pete Buttigieg during the presidential campaign, described the Mayor as a mentor–a description Buttigieg embraced–and a regular visitor to this very LGBTQIA+ friendly administration.

Wojahn is also a pedophile, just arrested for possessing child pornography.

The gay-activist Democrat mayor of College Park, Maryland, who has branded himself as something of a role model for LGBTQ youth, was arrested Thursday morning on dozens of counts of possessing and distributing child pornography, totaling 56 child sex offenses.

47-year-old Patrick Lewis Wojahn, a regular White House guest and the first openly gay man to take mayoral office in his city, is charged with 40 counts of possession of child sexual exploitative material and 16 felony counts of distribution of child porn.

Wojahn didn’t just “happen” to be gay. He was held up as a symbol of gay pride and a role model for the LGBT community and an example to all that sexual diversity didn’t threaten the community. He was not chosen as an exemplar of the gay community by conservatives trying to discredit their movement, but rather as an example of how including members of the LGBTQ community would make our communities better.

People like Wojahn were supposed to comfort the skeptical that the LGBT community poses no threat to regular folks and their children.

The city of College Park—ranked one of America’s top LGBTQ-inclusive cities and home to the University of Maryland—released its own statement on Wojahn’s resignation that was submitted Wednesday night, “thanking” the mayor “for his many years of dedicated service.” This year, College Park received a perfect 100 on its Municipal Equality Index scorecard from the gay-lobbying group Human Rights Commission, which doled out extra credit for the city’s openly LGBTQ elected leaders.

In 2020, city leadership publicly celebrated the first time it earned a perfect score, with Wojahn declaring that “College Park aims to be a welcoming community for all, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.” The rating, which the mayor “worked for several years to achieve,” “recognizes our true commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity,” Wojahn stated.

He was leading the way…to this. Becoming a pedophile. This is exactly what every parent fears when their child is indoctrinated into the alphabet ideology.

Hmm. Those books teaching how to use Grindr and practice various forms of gay sex that are distributed in schools…maybe there is a reason the alphabet crowd wants to give them to children.

The disgraced mayor has frequented the White House for an array of Pride events hosted by Biden, whom Wojahn considers “the most pro-LGBTQ President in US history!” In mid-December, Wojahn and his husband were invited to attend Biden’s signing ceremony of the Respect for Marriage Act on the White House’s South Lawn. “It certainly is a momentous occasion,” Wojahn commented to WTOP News, where Wojahn’s spouse Dave Kolesar is the outlet’s senior broadcast engineer.

Decades ago, Wojahn rose to political prominence when he and Kolesar were named plaintiffs in the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)’s 2004 lawsuit seeking to overturn a ban on gay marriage in Maryland. At first, a judge ruled in the same-sex couple’s favor, but an appeals court later overturned the ruling, finding that the ban did not violate the state’s constitution.

Wojahn was chosen–didn’t happen to be, but was chosen–to be one of the figures to lead the charge for marriage rights for homosexuals, and helped blaze the trail along with his husband. This is, of course, why the White House and Mayor Pete have been so cozy with him.

In an interview with the Washington Blade Wojahn discussed his close relationship with Mayor Pete, who of course will probably get no questions about how close they were:

During his Council elections and his first run as a mayoral candidate, Wojahn knew he had no choice but to run as an openly gay man because of his media prominence with the marriage equality lawsuit.

But being elected as an out gay mayor landed him a fortuitous mentor.

“I actually met Mayor Pete Buttigieg shortly after I was elected mayor in 2015,” Wojahn said. “I went to the U.S. Conference of Mayors’ Winter Meeting in D.C. in January and he was assigned to be my buddy.”

The two continued to talk over the phone and Buttigieg explained the conference to him and what would take place at the meeting. Later, they would both attend a White House reception during the Obama administration where Dave and Chasten (Buttigieg) would meet as well.

Buttigieg continued to mentor Wojahn, advising him on how to get the most out of his participation in the conference.

“I now serve in a leadership role as vice chair of city livability and bicycling in part due to his mentorship.”

They also talked about the challenges of being an openly gay mayor with Buttigieg sharing with his mentee the story of his coming out while serving in office.

“We talked about balancing competing interests,” Wojahn said, which for him became an issue when he proposed flying the Pride flag from City Hall during Pride month a few years ago.

Obviously, Wojahn’s perversions do not directly reflect upon Buttigieg. Each of us is responsible for our own actions, and nobody has alleged in any way that Buttigieg had any knowledge of the College Park Mayor’s perversions. I assume he would be as appalled as you or I.

Most gay people are simply attracted to people of their own sex. I’m not, so I don’t understand it. But I don’t understand how anybody could be attracted to Lizzo, but apparently, some are and I am OK with that. I would even support making marrying Lizzo legal.

But the performative alphabet crowd–the ones not actually celebrating monogamous relationships that buttress society’s basic structure–are self-consciously attacking all limits on sexual expression and promoting a barbaric vision of a society where anything goes. That is their goal, and they are getting there quickly.

Sexual desires that once would have been ruthlessly suppressed are now openly discussed and acted upon, and the ideology that embracing our most perverse desires is a realization of our true selves has come to rule the Left.

Wojahn was just being his true self, as the alphabet ideology preaches. I look forward to people finding and posting pictures and videos of him promoting pornographic books in public schools. You can be assured they are out there, along with denouncements of conservatives who want to “censor” these books.

We began sliding down the slippery slope to the celebration of any and all sexual “identities” years, even decades ago, and none of us should be shocked when we discover that the heroes of the alphabet people include some of the worst perverts in the world. The whole point of the ideology is that we need to be free to express our inner desires.

Turns out that there are some very dark desires buried in the hearts of men, and maybe we should suppress them.

It’s not incidental that Wojahn expressed his inner pedophile; it is essential, in the sense that once you assert that one’s desires are one’s identity, it’s difficult to draw any lines.

This is why, among the sexually obsessed Left, the lines are no longer being drawn. Grown men are performing sexually provocative dances nearly naked in front of children, and Lefties are applauding. Is it any wonder that men who celebrate this practice–who are pushing their city to be 100% on the “Municipal Equality Index”–turn out like this?

It’s not benign. It’s deeply sick.

None of this is Mayor Pete’s fault, except in the sense that he along with the Left as a whole embrace the notion that sexual desires should be indulged without restraint. The alphabet ideology is what enables and celebrates this. Mayor Pete is the safe face for a dangerous movement.

In a culture that celebrates drag queen story hour, should it surprise you that some of these people are actually interested in children sexually?
