The Left has decided that democracy as it is practiced in most of the world sucks. They seem to firmly believe that no matter how easy or difficult voting is, the rules are rigged against them.
And they call Republicans “election deniers.”
Raphael Warnock is the latest, but hardly the only Democrat to make the charge that voters were “suppressed” in an election. And he makes this charge despite the fact that voting in GA has been at all time highs and despite the fact he won.
The election was rigged even though we won is quite the message. https://t.co/jgcTtAAc8p

Perhaps he thinks that he deserved to win by 100% in an election that had 100% participation–just as what happens in every tyranny that pretends to be democratic. Is the old Soviet Union his ideal democracy?
Actually, no perhaps about it. That is clearly what he thinks. This is the new Democrat Party.
That may be a bit of unfair hyperbole, but not by much. In reality I believe that the new Democrat Party is all about celebrating victimhood and claiming special treatment based upon intersectional victim points. And “voter suppression” is a great victimhood claim.
CNN characterized black voter turnout in the November general election as “sky high,” and noted that Warnock secured 96% of those votes in November. If this is the result of voter suppression I am not sure what possible evidence could persuade Warnock that the votes of black people are not being “suppressed.” Or rather, what could convince his supporters, because I doubt Warnock buys his own accusation.
The entire argument about voter suppression is absurd. It’s not that it hasn’t happened–clearly before the Civil Rights era black voters were more than discouraged from voting–they were outright attacked for doing so.
But 2022 is not exactly 1952. A few things have changed in the intervening 70 years and the Democrats know it. They are, to put it mildly, engaged in the same sort of propaganda campaign they have engaged in for decades. Joe Biden famously declared that Mitt Romney’s goal in the 2012 election was to re-enslave blacks, or put them “in chains.” That was not only ridiculous, it was an attack on any sort of decency and honesty in elections, and just as bad as anything that the Democrats accused Trump of implying in his elections.
Democrats have infantilized black voters, flat out asserting that they are incapable of securing identification. Why, exactly, would that be? What percentage of adults eligible to vote do not have identification? Since many of the basic activities in life require a government issued ID even the poorest among us have and carry them regularly.
The voter suppression trope is convenient, even necessary for the Democrats in their drive to make voter fraud impossible to detect. There is literally no evidence that could possibly disprove their case, as they can claim that any voter participation rate short of 100% (never attained in American history by any racial group) is proof of suppression.
Democrats, as much or more as any Republicans including Donald Trump supporters, attack Americans elections as unfair because it serves their political purposes. They keep voters ginned up using the false accusations. The biggest difference between the Democrat claims of suppression and Trump’s accusations of rigging is the greater lack of evidence (Trump can point indisputably to the MSM and social media stacking the deck against Republicans generally and him specifically), and of course the MSM’s promotion of their claim despite the complete lack of evidence.
The MSM is more to blame for this than the Democrats. All politicians will use any advantage to gain power, because that is their goal in elections. It is the media’s role to serve as a nominally neutral 3rd party to keep the most outrageous claims in check by punishing the perpetrators.
Instead the media is filled with Left-wing propagandists, and they are by far the greater threat to our democracy than any politician. They distort the truth, impose Narratives on all information, and attack the democratic process whenever it is convenient to their cause.
For God’s sake, they are trying to prove that Discovery’s Shark Week is racist propaganda. It is disgusting.
Racism is a spent force in American politics. It certainly exists, although the balance these days clearly is anti-white and anti-Asian. But certainly anti-Black racism exists; it just isn’t a political force. The opposite is true. Demonstrably so. Any pundit or professor can attack White people with impunity, and frequently do.
Rutgers professor says that "white people are committed to being villains" and falsely claims that Africans arrived in North America before white Europeans.

Warnock should be ashamed, but he of course will never be, as the accusations serve his purpose.
But in a decent world he would at least be shamed by the media. But of course he won’t be, because the “voter suppression” accusation serves theirs as well.
