Children are being recruited into the transgender cult at an alarming rate. Transgender ideology is being pushed in schools, in public libraries, in the media, and by so-called “experts” who assure us all that kids discovering that they are genderqueer furry unicorns is a great thing and will make the world a happier place.

It’s not just sick, but as with most cults at base, it is all a giant scam. The people at the top of the cult pyramid are making bank, just as you would expect with other cult leaders.

Matt Walsh and the Daily Wire investigators decided to take a look at their relatively new gender clinic at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a local institution, it just made sense for the Daily Wire team to do a deeper dive into what the Medical Center is doing and why they got into the business.

What the Daily Wire found was as disturbing as you would expect, but there was a twist. Walsh and crew were able to dig up some really disturbing videos of the people who planned the new venture discussing how remunerative getting into the child mutilation business would be. Daily Wire host Matt Walsh uncovered shocking details about Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s (VUMC) so-called gender-affirming care.

Video and archived webpages from the medical center details a doctor’s promotion of the “big money maker” transgender therapies and surgeries, and apparent threats against medical professionals who dare object for religious reasons.

“It’s a lot of money,” VUMC Clinic for Transgender Health’s Dr. Shayne Sebold Taylor said at one Medicine Grand Rounds lecture, video reveals. “These surgeries make a lot of money.”

Taylor noted that a “chest reconstruction” can bring in $40,000 per patient, and someone “just on routine hormone treatment, who I’m only seeing a few times a year, can bring in several thousand dollars … and actually makes money for the hospital.”

Citing the Philadelphia Center for Transgender Surgery, Taylor said vaginoplasty surgeries can generate $20,000, gushing that it “has to be an underestimate,” since hospital stay, anesthesia, post-op visits, and other add-ons are not included in the total.

“And the female-to-male bottom surgeries, these are huge money makers,” the doctor continued, adding that such surgeries could bring in “up to $100,000” for the hospital.

Some clinics are “entirely” “supported” financially by such phalloplasty surgeries, Taylor boasted.

“These surgeries are labor intensive, there are a lot of follow-ups, they require a lot of our time, and they make money,” she emphasized. “They make money for the hospital.”

Whenever you hear a leftist gushing about saving lives or being empathetic be sure to check your wallet because 999 out of 1000 times what they are doing is grabbing for money and/or power. If you think I sound cynical, it’s because I am these days. Money and power make the world go around, and nothing gets a narcissistic psychopath excited like a chance to make a killing by subjugating others to his will.

Vanderbilt is so committed to cashing in that they threatened their own employees if they didn’t get on board with the idea of chopping up kids.

Luring children into self-mutilation provides many benefits besides putting big bucks into the pockets of the mutilators. Children are indoctrinated into identifying with their tormentors, seeing them as allies and enablers of their identity. The cult creates an “us,” separating the victims from society and their families as a “them.”

In this case the children literally self-mutilate, ensuring that the initiation into the cult has cost them their very bodies. Leaving the cult means giving up the very meaning of one’s life. Few do, at least so far.

A lot of people extend the benefit of the doubt to the transgender proselytizers, but they shouldn’t. Encouraging children who face emotional issues to separate themselves from their families, their very bodies, and the community at large to join what amounts to a cult is child abuse, not compassionate care. If a child is truly suffering from identity issues (and frankly, what pubescent teen isn’t at least to some extent?), the right thing to do is help them adjust to the traumatic changes they face as they grow up.

It is definitely evil to separate them from their family and encourage them to destroy their bodies and fertility. People who prey on children like this are themselves very sick, and people who do it for profit are psychopathic monsters.

Our cultural masters are all in on promoting this madness, and this is an issue that should unite reasonable liberals, moderates, and conservatives. Normal liberals care about their kids just as much as conservatives do, and we should be doing everything to recruit them as allies united against a common enemy. We can fight about taxes and immigration after we crush the cult leaders.

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee took notice of Walsh’s revelations and is coming down hard on Vanderbilt’s pursuit of profit at the expense of vulnerable children.

Tennessee Republican Governor Bill Lee has called for an investigation of the Pediatric Transgender Clinic at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) after shocking videos posted by Matt Walsh detailed a doctor’s promotion of “big money maker” transgender surgeries.

The videos obtained by Walsh also show apparent threats made against medical professionals at VUMC if they objected to the procedures, even for religious reasons.

“The ‘pediatric transgender clinic’ at Vanderbilt University Medical Center raises serious moral, ethical and legal concerns,” Lee said in a statement to The Daily Wire. “We should not allow permanent, life-altering decisions that hurt children or policies that suppress religious liberties, all for the purpose of financial gain. We have to protect Tennessee children, and this warrants a thorough investigation.”

An investigation is a good start, but in a sane world, these people would be facing life in prison, not a chiding from a politician and having to answer some inconvenient questions.

Of course the Biden Administration has been going in exactly the opposite direction, going all in on forcing the states to recognize and promote transgender treatments for adults and children. The list of “accomplishments” and initiatives they put out on the so-called “Transgender Day of Visibility” is breathtaking in its scope and frightening in its implications. I can’t reproduce it here because the list is long, but I encourage you to take a gander.

The Biden Administration cares so little about children that it has taken agents off of investigating child sexual abuse and is using the agents to go after their political opponents. They probably think that going after “Minor Attracted Persons” is a misuse of government resources. The Left treats children as political props, not as human beings to be loved, cherished, and protected.

I have no doubt that some small number of people are plagued by dysphorias, including gender dysphoria. There are a whole host of mental illnesses that we should help people deal with, and doing so requires meeting people where they are in their life and embracing them with the compassion necessary to help them overcome their difficulties.

But what you don’t do is embrace an anorexic and assure them that their eating habits are healthy and that not nourishing themselves is a proper expression of their identity. You treat their illness. You embrace them and tell them that they are beautiful souls who should inhabit healthy bodies. God did not intend them to become living skeletons.

The same principle applies here. People who are uncomfortable in their own bodies (and that includes almost all pubescent children–that is the nature of puberty!) should be embraced and helped so that they can become comfortable in their own skins, literally.

It shouldn’t have to be said that children shouldn’t be butchered for profit. Unfortunately, these days it has to be said. Loudly. Clearly. Without equivocation. Then we should run these profit-seeking psychopathic butchers out of town on a rail.
