CIA agent Mike Spann died six years ago today in Afghanistan. He was interrogating captured Taliban prisoners in Mazir-e-Sharif, prisoners that included the American Taliban John Walker Lindh, when they launched an uprising. Spann was killed. He was 32 years old, and left behind a wife and three children.
