The military is doing this well at recruiting and retention, across the board, with two ongoing wars, the “General Betrayus” idiocy, a hostile press that treats military leadership like it’s either corrupt or stupid, and with miscreants like Jack Murtha and Ted Rall smearing the troops as war criminals. If any of these stats were to fall off for any reason, you can bet that the MSM would trumpet it. And they would blame it on Bush or the war, not the left’s campaign of demoralization. As things stand, this will be one of the few places that you hear about it.
