As Ed pointed out this morning, the Washington Post isn’t laughing at the latest in a string of gaffes for Vice President Joe Biden.
Josh Earnest assures us of Biden’s character, which is illustrated by the fact that when he messes up, he apologizes both publicly and privately. Also, he “continues to be a core member” of the president’s national security team, so we got that going for us, which is nice. Enjoy the list of gaffes from the past two weeks in all its majesty, as presented by Jon Karl:
Earnest would also like to say they are totally comfortable that Obama made the midterm elections about his policies by saying the midterm elections are totally about his policies.
What could it possibly be?
Any theories on why Obama commands so little loyalty from likes of Panetta, Gates, Clinton?

At least the DCCC is feeling good.

Maybe this is what’s got them down. It should go smoothly:
This week, Vice President Joe Biden and first lady Michelle Obama are scheduled to attend fundraisers for the Democratic Senate candidate. Biden will fundraise for Braley at the Beverly Wilshire, a luxury hotel in Los Angeles, on Monday. Obama will headline a campaign event for Braley in Des Moines, Iowa, on Friday.
The events come as polls continue to show Braley in a dead heat against his opponent, Republican Joni Ernst.
