The Oxfam cover-up of senior staff involved in prostitution and orgies with Haitian girls, some of whom may have been minors, is a huge scandal in Britain right now. And as we’ve seen with the #MeToo movement, news of one scandal encourages others to come forward and talk about similar behavior.
Monday the Sun published a story about a dossier delivered to the UN last year by a former senior UN official. This dossier estimated international aid agencies were home to thousands of pedophiles who sought out the jobs because of the access it gave them to vulnerable women and children:
A WHISTLE blower has claimed UN staff could have carried out 60,000 rapes in the last decade as aid workers indulge in sex abuse unchecked around the world.
The claim is in a bombshell dossier that former senior United Nations official Andrew Macleod handed over to DFID Secretary Priti Patel last year.
In it, Professor Macleod also estimated there are 3,300 paedophiles working for the world body’s various agencies alone.
Thousands more “predatory” sex abusers specifically target aid charity jobs to get close to vulnerable women and children…
The respected academic said: “There are tens of thousands of aid workers around the world with paedophile tendencies, but if you wear a UNICEF T-shirt nobody will ask what you’re up to.”
MacLeod told the Sun, “We are looking at a problem on the scale of the Catholic Church — if not bigger.” The London Times reported Sunday that over 120 incidents of sexual abuse by charity workers were reported last year alone:
More than 120 workers for Britain’s leading charities were accused of sexual abuse in the past year alone, fuelling fears that paedophiles are targeting overseas aid organisations.
As new figures emerged revealing the extent of the crisis, Priti Patel, the former international development secretary, warned “predatory paedophiles” had been allowed to exploit the aid sector…
Oxfam recorded 87 incidents last year, Save the Children 31 — 10 of which were referred to the police and civil authorities — and Christian Aid two. The British Red Cross admitted there had been a “small number of cases of harassment reported in the UK”, believed to be up to five. All four receive money from the Department for International Development…
Andrew MacLeod, a former aid worker for the Red Cross and the UN, told The Sunday Times there was a lack of response to “institutionalised paedophilia” among aid workers. He said he was shocked by what he saw in the Philippines.
“Walk near the Greenbelt Mall [in Manila] and you would see businessmen, tourists and aid workers meeting local girls for the night. You would say: ‘How old do you think these women are?’ They’d look at you with a twinkle in their eye and say: ‘She says she is 18.’
The scale of this is certainly hard to grasp, but these aid organizations have tens of thousands of workers around the world and, because they rely on personal or governmental donations, they have every reason to try to cover up misconduct. The Oxfam cover-up of similar behavior in Haiti, including a “full-on Caligula orgy” with Haitian girls, is just the latest example of this problem.
