Fox News reports Bill Clinton took 26 flights on the “Lolita Express,” the private jet owned by billionaire sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein:
Former President Bill Clinton was a much more frequent flyer on a registered sex offender’s infamous jet than previously reported, with flight logs showing the former president taking at least 26 trips aboard the “Lolita Express” — even apparently ditching his Secret Service detail for at least five of the flights, according to records obtained by FoxNews.com.
Clinton’s presence aboard Jeffrey Epstein’s Boeing 727 on 11 occasions has been reported, but flight logs show the number is more than double that, and trips between 2001 and 2003 included extended junkets around the world with Epstein and fellow passengers identified on manifests by their initials or first names, including “Tatiana.” The tricked-out jet earned its Nabakov-inspired nickname because it was reportedly outfitted with a bed where passengers had group sex with young girls.
“Bill Clinton … associated with a man like Jeffrey Epstein, who everyone in New York, certainly within his inner circles, knew was a pedophile,” said Conchita Sarnoff, of the Washington, D.C. based non-profit Alliance to Rescue Victims of Trafficking, and author of a book on the Epstein case called “TrafficKing.” “Why would a former president associate with a man like that?”
It’s not clear where Fox News is taking the number of previously reported flights with Epstein (which they put at 11). Last January, Buzzfeed analyzed handwritten flight logs and put the number at 13 flights. One of those flights included female passengers identified only by their first names:
Clinton was on four flights with women identified as only “Janice” and “Jessica,” who have not been identified; he once flew with a person identified only as “one female” and also, during part of the trip throughout Africa, a young woman named Chauntae Davies, who appears in Epstein’s phone directly under the massage category and whose expertise in Swedish massage was described in Gawker’s story mentioning her last week.
One thing that both Buzzfeed and Fox News seem to agree on is that there is no evidence Clinton flew on Epstein’s jet to his private island. From Fox:
Virginia Roberts, 32, who claims she was pimped out by Epstein at age 15, has previously claimed she saw Clinton at Epstein’s getaway in 2002, but logs do not show Clinton aboard any flights to St. Thomas, the nearest airport capable of accommodating Epstein’s plane. They do show Clinton flying aboard Epstein’s plane to such destinations as Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, China, Brunei, London, New York, the Azores, Belgium, Norway, Russia and Africa.
Fox adds that an FOIA request sent to the Secret Service was answered with a statement that there were no records showing Clinton had been on the island. However, the Secret Service has refused to answer separate FOIA requests for documents showing that Clinton signed off on traveling without the secret service, something he apparently did on a multi-day trip to Asia with Epstein in 2002.
A 2002 profile of Epstein in New York magazine indicated he and Clinton were very cozy at the time:
After dinner, Epstein asked if Nowak wanted to meet up with his new friend President Clinton, and off they went to a nearby deli, where Clinton regaled the starstruck former Oxford professor with tales from his own Oxford days.
A later story in the same magazine made clear that Epstein was neither shy nor remorseful about his abuse of as many as 40 underage girls. Even after his arrest he was still “totally open” about it:
Those who know Epstein say he’s unfazed by his travails. “He’s totally open about his life: His life is about making money and living an erotic life, and his escape isn’t alcohol or drugs—it’s sex,” says a friend. “I was talking to him the other day, and he said to me that he was doing well and working steadily—between massages.”
It’s difficult to believe that during those 26 flights on Epstein’s private jet Clinton, who pal Vernon Jordan once said liked to “talk p**sy” on the golf course, never got around to discussing all the interests they had in common.
