Interview: Phelim McAleer on new book - Gosnell: The Untold Story of America's Most Prolific Serial Killer

Kermit Gosnell may well qualify as America’s most prolific serial killer, Phelim McAleer and Ann McIlhenny argue in their new book — and the one that the media won’t discuss. Their new book, Gosnell: The Untold Story of America’s Most Prolific Serial Killerdebuted yesterday at #3 on Amazon for all books, and currently sits atop the lists for abortion & birth control as well as serial killers.

Earlier today, I spoke with Phelim about the book, and the upcoming movie starring Dean Cain:

Phelim and Ann will attend CPAC at the end of February, and will screen a rough cut of Gosnell for attendees. In the meantime, the sales of the book are important in finding a distributor, but even more important for the purposes of finally getting the media to pay attention to the lessons of Kermit Gosnell’s years of unchecked horrors. As Phelim notes, the police and city in Philadelphia remained obstinately uninvolved, refusing to do even the prescribed legal inspections of his clinic for 17 years, during which time witnesses say that Gosnell routinely killed babies born alive from his late-term abortions — once a week on average, Phelim tells me in the interview. Multiply that by 17 years, and it adds up to a soul-crushing reality of how many lives were lost in that Philly clinic — and the only reason it came to an end was because a police officer finally forced the issue during a drug investigation.

As a member of the media, I routinely get advance copies of books for review, but I’m also buying the Kindle version in order to keep this moving up the charts. We can contribute to that pressure for the media to cover this ghastly crime spree, as well as inform ourselves of all the details and failures of them.
