Bobby Jindal to counter pro-choice protest at governor's mansion -- by screening videos from Planned Parenthood sting outside

A bit of political counterprogramming so masterful I dare call it “Breitbartesque.”

I just hope he doesn’t expect these people to be shamed by the idea of cutting into a baby’s face to remove its brain while its heart is still beating. Anyone who cared about that wouldn’t be out to protest to begin with.

The videos, some of which include graphic footage of abortion workers sorting through the dismembered arms, legs and other body parts of aborted babies as old as 20-weeks gestation, will show on an outdoor movie theater outside the Louisiana governor’s mansion.

The pro-Planned Parenthood protest is set to take place at 4:30 CT. The screening of the videos will happen at the same time.

Jindal, who was one of the first governors to pull funding of the abortion giant, said in a statement earlier today that, “Planned Parenthood has a right to protest…but Governor Jindal’s office will ensure that anyone who shows up will have to witness first-hand the offensive actions of the organization they are supporting.”

Here he is this morning on Fox, relentlessly on message by turning a question about whether “anchor babies” is an offensive term for children of illegal immigrants into an indictment of the left for refusing to use the term “baby” to describe Planned Parenthood’s “specimens.” He’s done everything he could lately to try to grab the attention of social conservative voters in Iowa and South Carolina — resisting implementation of the Supreme Court’s gay-marriage decision (for a little while), cutting off Medicaid funds for Planned Parenthood in Louisiana after the sting videos came out, and now actually broadcasting the videos outside the mansion to force abortion warriors to confront the type of inhumanity they’re defending. Result: Zippo. Apart from one promising poll of Iowa by Gravis last month showing him bouncing up to seven percent, he’s stuck at around one or two points. What’s it going to take?
