For breakfast this Easter morning? Amnesty, of course. We’ve been looking for specifics about just what the Gang of Eight has planned and now, maybe, we’re about to get some. Schumer and Flake will hit NBC and Lindsey Graham will appear on CNN to address the border-security “trigger,” the emerging agreement between business and labor about the guest-worker program, and whether they really are going to try to ram this thing through the Senate with only a week or two of deliberations. In related news, at last check, Graham faces no serious primary challenge next year despite representing one of the most conservative states in America. How’d that happen?
Cardinals Dolan and Wuerl will also be on to discuss which reforms Francis is planning in the spirit of Pope-and-change and whether there’s a risk that he’ll alienate traditionalists. The line-up via National Journal:
Meet the Press hosts Sens. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and Jeff Flake, R-Ariz.
Face the Nation hosts Cardinal Timothy Dolan and other religious leaders.
This Week hosts Dolan, Newark (N.J.) Mayor Cory Booker and Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y.
Fox News Sunday hosts retired Navy Captain Mark Kelly and Cardinal Donald Wuerl.
State of the Union hosts Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn.
