The great Spruce Grove caper

To cleanse the palate at the end of a long week, the best real-world comic set piece I’ve seen since last year’s BBC masterpiece in South Korea. It’s all physical comedy and, because of that, actually benefits from the lack of sound. Buster Keaton couldn’t have written it any better.

To set the stage, the cops were called to a convenience store in Edmonton when the store owner suspected a man of trying to buy something with a stolen credit card. His lady friend somehow got involved too. That’s really all you need to know.

Oh, except for one thing. You have to watch to the end or you’ll miss the big laugh. Two minutes. It’s worth it.
