The video of the now-famous interrupted interview posted by the BBC to Facebook has a cool 85 million views as I write this, and that’s just one iteration. There are many, many millions more views for the same footage uploaded by random people to YouTube, Twitter, etc. In the span of about a minute plus a few hours of viral digestion online, this guy went from chatting about the Korean standoff to unwitting participant in a minor masterpiece of physical comedy to global fame. It would make for a nifty episode of “Black Mirror,” if there was such a thing as a feelgood episode of “Black Mirror.” (Actually…)
