Speaking of which, interesting new data this afternoon from Morning Consult, which is conducting its own exit poll of almost 10,000 voters nationwide as we wait for the official exit polls after 5 p.m.:
Among blacks and Latinos, 37 percent and 31 percent, respectively, say that they’ve heard from the Clinton campaign. On the other hand, I remember a poll this summer that showed something like 40 percent of Trump fans reported seeing a Trump ad on TV … even though he hadn’t begun running television ads at that point yet. You can’t trust voters to accurately respond to a question about their contact with a campaign, I think, especially when they sense there’s a “right” answer and feel obliged to give it. Guy’s source says it’s tight in Florida, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and even Nevada, where Dems are supposed to be comfortably ahead in early voting. Stay tuned.
