Open thread: Sunday morning talking heads

Nothin’ but would-be presidents on the menu this morning for your Sunday brunch viewing. You want Trump? You got Trump. He’ll on “This Week” with Stephanopoulos to mark day three of the media’s very important “Does Trump think Obama’s a Muslim?” coverage. You want Hillary? No problem. She’ll be on “Face the Nation” for a rare Sunday interview, showing off her “humor and heart” when she’s asked why she singlehandedly engineered a national security catastrophe in the name of having her own e-mail server. You want Carly Fiorina? That’s doable too. She’ll be on “Fox News Sunday” responding to Trump’s claim that she sounds like a robot and the theory being spread by Rush Limbaugh that she’s some sort of Terminator sent by the GOP’s donor class to take down the anti-establishment billionaire in the race who’s even further left than they are.

None of those sound good, you say? Then how about Ben Carson? He’ll be on “Meet the Press” along with John Kasich. Marco Rubio? Yep, he’ll be on too, following Trump on “This Week” to laugh at that Rand Paul staffer who wanted him to fire his campaign manager over a shove. Ditto for Rand himself, who’ll follow Hillary on “Face the Nation.” Chris Christie? He’s booked this fine Sunday morning as well, on CNN’s “State of the Union.” Essentially, anyone who’s anyone in the race will be somewhere on the dial today apart from Ted Cruz and Scott Walker. And though it pains me to say it, given his polling lately, I’m not sure Walker meets the threshold to qualify as “anyone” anymore. The full line-up is at the AP.
