Big day for the soon-to-be frontrunner in Iowa: Dr. Ben Carson is the lead guest on “This Week” and “Face the Nation,” where he’ll discuss the campaign, racial reconciliation, faith, and why he thinks Trump’s plan to deport 11 million illegals in 18 months just might be unworkable. I think we’re one standout debate performance away from full-blown Carsonmania among social conservatives. We’ll find out on CNN on Wednesday night.

Elsewhere this morning, John Kasich will be on “Fox News Sunday,” Chris Christie will appear on “Meet the Press,” and Scott Whatsisname will sit down with Jake Tapper on “State of the Union” to try to pull his campaign out of its tailspin.
