Open thread: Sunday morning talking heads

Foolishly, I thought this morning would be all about the Healthcare.gov apocalypse. Nope. It’s on the menu — Steve Beshear and John Kasich will do some Dem/GOP squabbling over O-Care on “Meet the Press” — but the guests this week are heavy on natsec hawks: Mike Rogers on “State of the Union,” Peter King on “Meet the Press,” and Dick Cheney in the featured segment on “This Week.” Expect oodles of skepticism about nuke negotiations with Iran and the damage that’s done to the U.S./Saudi partnership. Here’s a sneak preview of what Cheney will say, in case you can’t guess.

If you’re less interested in all of that than you are in the RINO/tea party civil war, keep an eye on Bobby Jindal’s segment on “Fox News Sunday.” He just launched a nonprofit devoted to advancing conservative policy ideas, replete with a veiled shot at PACs like American Crossroads and Heritage Action on both sides of the GOP primary war:

But here’s the truth – Conservatives have failed to articulate and sell a national policy agenda to the country, a vision of what conservative policies can accomplish when put into practice.. We’ve detailed the awful things the Obama Administration has done, all the failings of the left, and we’ve pledged to undo as much of that as we can…

We’ve said what we are against. But shame on us if we don’t put pen to paper and begin selling the American public on a new policy direction for this country…

AMERICA NEXT is not focused on elections. We are not one of those groups that merely pretend to be focused on policy, but are actually focused on campaigns.

Jindal’s not afraid to criticize Republicans in fighting over the party’s brand. We’ll see what he thinks about Boehner, Cruz, and the “defund” effort. Here’s the full line-up from Politico.
