Good news from MSNBC: Eric Holder is "the Moses of our time"

I know it sounds crazy, but understand that he’s speaking metaphorically. All he means is that Holder is “the chief lawgiver of the United States of America, so to speak,” which … is also crazy.

He goes on to say that “the real problem is it’s not against the law to leak classified information.” Which is kinda sorta true — it’s against the law to leak information that’s injurious to national defense, which is a subset of classified information and which Holder used to justify his snooping on James Rosen. Is he saying that it should be illegal to leak all manner of classified info, whether dangerous or not? You don’t usually find liberals demanding more government secrecy, and in any event it’s irrelevant to this case. Or is he saying that it shouldn’t be illegal, in which case … government officials should have carte blanche legally to dump sensitive defense information to the press? What?

Here you go, via the Washington Free Beacon. There’s a signpost up ahead — you’ve just crossed into the Twilight Zone. Exit question: Is Obama Jesus in this metaphor?
