Actually, it’s set for release on the Friday after the elections, but I bet a nudge from the right people in D.C. could get it moved up a week or two. What better way to push the Democrats’ “George Bush destroyed America (but we really want him on our side on the Ground Zero mosque!)” midterm message?

This looks better than I expected thanks to the scenes of Naomi Watts doing spycraft, but ultimately it rises or falls depending upon one’s ability to stifle giggles at Spicoli rocking the Joe Wilson hair and doing his best “gravitas” face. I’ll leave you to wonder whether I possess that ability. Anyway, look on the bright side: At least it’ll be nice to see Joe and Valerie back on the red carpet again.
