Inevitable: The creepy new Tiger Nike ad -- remixed

Something light to cleanse the palate. I said my piece about it in the Spitzer post, but (a) it was buried there, so here’s a chance to give it fuller attention, and (b) Treacher said it better than I did and this gives me an excuse to link him. The irony of this trainwreck is that I don’t think anyone bore Nike any ill will for their continued sponsorship of Woods — until now. I guess they figured they had to deal with the scandal up front so that they could eventually get back to putting him in the standard “just do it” crap as if nothing had ever happened, but a sympathy play for a low-rent narcissist guest-starring his dead dad was a curious way to go about reintroducing him to consumers. Second look at Reebok!

This clip comes from HuffPo’s honor roll of the best new remixes, but it’s not actually the very best, merely the most pointed. My favorite is “Damn, It Feels Good to Be Tiger,” but since I’m swiping this from their post, I’ll make you go over there to watch that one.
