I want to love it but what is there to love? It looks like any other generic CGI action caper. The way to go with a show as cheesy and beloved as “The A-Team” is to follow the lead of “The Brady Bunch Movie” and turn it into a loving spoof of the cheesiest elements. This looks like … a straight-up remake, without even the sort of stunt casting that could have partly redeemed it. Instead of Ice Cube as B.A. Baracus, we get some Ultimate Fighting guy. And of course the tool from the unwatchable “Hangover” as Face.

The only hopeful sign: Sharlto Copley, who was fantastic as the lead in “District 9,” gets to show his range by playing, er, Murdock. Exit question: Wait for the DVD?
