Reminds me of the time Karzai had to explain terrorism to Democratic AP shill Jennifer Loven at a White House presser. The point about Saddam is familiar enough to be almost rote under most circumstances — but not this time, given who it’s coming from. I like the idea of him scolding them too for, of all things, being insensitive to cultural differences. I wonder if he did it purposely, just to tweak their progressive pride.
