You have to hear it to believe it. The damage has already been done thanks to his interview with Chris Matthews, but listening to this I’m reminded again of McClellan’s preternatural ability to sound weaselly even when, in all likelihood, he’s telling the truth. Just the quality you’d want in a White House press secretary, I think we’d all agree. It’s nine minutes long but they fly by, especially after the voices start to rise. Click the image to listen.
