Reminding voters of her epic battles with the GOP in the 1990s won’t play well in a tight race against Obama’s message of “change,” which is probably why this one’s been shunted off to New Hampshire, where she leads by double digits, instead of Iowa. It’s a curious exercise in leveraging partisan hate, too: according to this spot, the Republicans running the attack machine are Mitt and McCain, not her nemesis from New York who knocks her every chance he gets and who (judging by the attention paid him on Olbermann’s show) has become a lightning rod for the left thanks to his “neocon” foreign policy team. If you’re going to shoot, Hillary, at least aim for the target.
