Nothing too flashy, but appreciate the economy of packing an attack on the Democrats’ 400-lb. gorilla and an array of candidate biography into one trim 30-second spot. I like it much better than those “come, let us walk in the garden and speak of jihad” clips he’s been running until now.

Admittedly, you lose something of the personal touch with an ad like this but Mitt doesn’t need to worry about that. He’s been doing gauzy paterfamilias stuff for awhile now. Let’s see more of the qualifications.
