Hence all the hand-wringing two weeks ago over the appalling “demonization” of poor Holocaust-denying, terror-supporting Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The questioner here is of the same mind, wondering why she would ever put her name to a senate resolution calling on Bush to designate the Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization. Doesn’t she know she’s playing right into the Chimperor’s hands? She tries to explain that she’s also co-sponsoring Jim Webb’s amendment that would deny funds for military operations against Iran without prior congressional authorization, but the questioner’s done his Chomskyan “research” and isn’t having any of it.
