LGF has it. If it’s true, and I’m skeptical that it is, then she’s in limbo. She can’t afford security of her own but the Dutch government won’t provide security unless she’s in the country, which, apparently, the prime minister doesn’t want her to be. Which in turn, momentarily, makes her a dead woman walking.

It’s really high time for someone to start a nonprofit to pay for security for people like her and Rushdie. It wouldn’t have to be limited to critics of Islam, although there aren’t many other people or ideologies these days willing to repay criticism with capital punishment.

Come to think of it, anti-Putin activists would probably qualify.
