First up today, a report that originated in the London Times. Women working for Tate’s online porn business in Romania had tattoos that read “owned by Tate.”

Police sources said some of the women working for the business were said to have “owned by Tate” tattooed on them, which was visible on camera, reports The Times.

Sebastian Vieru – who has partnered with Tate in other businesses – claims the influencer’s sex cam business was “perfectly legal” in Romania…

Vieru also said it was normal for women to have tattoos of their boyfriend’s names.

This claim that all of these women were really his girlfriends seems to match up with the prosecutors’ claims that he used a “loverboy” approach to lure women into working for himi, i.e. telling them he wanted to date them as a way to establish control. Yesterday we heard from one girl he (allegedly) approached online when she was only 16. She said Tate contacted her and several of her female friends at the same time trying to win her over by talking about his “20 million euro plane.”

The other story published yesterday involves allegations of sexual and physical abuse by two women who worked for Tate’s porn business back in 2015 in the UK. He was arrested and investigated at the time but prosecutors eventually declined to prosecute.

Notorious influencer Andrew Tate was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and physical abuse in 2015 while he and his brother were running a webcam sex business out of the UK, VICE World News can reveal…

Two women told VICE World News they were violently abused – one raped, the other repeatedly strangled – by Andrew Tate, and that UK police and the Crown Prosecution Service mishandled their case, leaving him free to rise to global fame on the back of his unchecked misogyny. Police took four years to pass their investigation to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) – whose job involves assessing whether there is a realistic prospect of conviction – at which point the CPS declined to prosecute.

In a statement issued via his lawyer in Romania, Tate denied assault or rape.

The arrest and investigation happened before Tate’s brief appearance on Big Brother in 2016. He was removed from the show after five days and at the time it was believed the decision to remove him was the result of a video in which he slapped and hit a former girlfriend with a belt. But Vice reports that actually Tate was removed from the show because producers had learned about the arrest and then-ongoing investigation.

Vice is planning to air full interviews with two women, identified as Sally and Helen though those aren’t their real names:

Sally told VICE World News that she was strangled by Tate at least five times, and saw him choke other women on at least 10 occasions, attacking them in sudden outbursts of violence. The attacks allegedly occurred when the women were working for Tate’s webcam sex business in Luton, England, in 2015.

“Me and another girl would wake up in the morning with these, like, red, I can only describe them as freckles around our eyes,” said Sally.

“It was from when he choked me so hard that my blood vessels had literally just burst.”

Around the same time as Sally said she was abused, one of her co-workers, Helen, was allegedly raped by Tate, in a sexual assault that Sally claims to have witnessed.

Tate, from jail in Romania, has denied the allegations and said the two women “wanted money because I fired them.” Here’s a portion of the interview with “Sally” about her experience with Tate. Again, this is taken from a full-length documentary that Vice will air next week.
