Hannity: Are you saying, Andrew, that there are more tapes?
Breitbart: Oh my goodness there are! Not only are there more tapes, it’s not just ACORN. And this message is to Attorney General Holder: I want you to know that we have more tapes, it’s not just ACORN, and we’re going to hold out until the next election cycle, or else if you want to do a clean investigation, we will give you the rest of what we have, we will comply with you, we will give you the documentation we have from countless ACORN whistleblowers who want to come forward but are fearful of this organization and the retribution that they fear that this is a dangerous organization. So if you get into an investigation, we will give you the tapes; if you don’t give us the tapes, we will revisit these tapes come election time.
Hannity: This is a blockbuster, what you’re saying here. You guys have more tapes, you’ll release them before the election, that could have a big impact on the election, obviously…

Interesting… but threatening to time release tapes to sway an election is not a smart thing to just go out an announce… even though it’s always done by the elite press… and Holder can always say that it is being investigated at the local level…

this man has balls. because the DOJ is powerful. they could make up some minor tax evasion charge & sic the IRS on him. his life would be bloody hell forever.
or the DOJ could plant child porn on Breitbart’s home computer & he would lose all credibility.
do you not think Eric Holder & Rahm Emmanuel are not capable of this?

I couldn’t believe it when he said it … I couldn’t believe that an American was attempting to “extort” the justice department to do it’s job.
But … it’s come to this. Americans have to have “leverage” over their own judicial system in order for it to function correctly.
If ACORN had been a Republican outfit – and one skinhead was discovered working in one office – you’d have seen the holy hell of Eric Holder’s justice delievered at the drop of a hat.

bitsy on November 20, 2009 at 9:28 AM
I saw this last night, and I think it was a foolish move. Breitbart is holding a royal flush, why give them an idea of what he is up to? Frankly he should release some of the videos starting in May, just to squander the money collected by established candidates. If he is fortunate enough to force one to drop from an election he will have his vindication.
After tne May release, start realeasing videos around July to keep the candidates on the defensive.
Breitbart seems to be getting impatient that his videos aren’t receiving adaquate attention (rightly so), however if he waits until the election campains get into full swing he will do much more good, and will probably achieve all of his goals.

LtE126 on November 20, 2009 at 9:30 AM
Blackmail is generally a threat against a person’s reputation. Breitbart isn’t threatening Holder’s reputation, he’s threatening to release information that is not about Holder or Obama per se … unless Holder does what his job requires him to do. I don’t think this constitutes blackmail.
aunursa on November 20, 2009 at 9:30 AM
He didn’t mention blackmail at all, merely hoping (and in all likelyhood they do)that Brietbart has more tapes of these corrupt leftist institutions. What conservatives have known for years in now in blatantly obvious to the entire country through the work of two college kids with a camera. And the fact that you stooped so low to use the death of American service members to justify your flawed thinking is morally reprhensible, but hey, its not the first time the left has used soldiers to further their own agenda.

Inside thing. nemecizer was going out of his way right after the Ft. Hood shootings to defend Hasan, actually chastizing people for daring to call it a jihadist attack and pronounce him guilty before he had a fair trial. He was going after people for not calling him MAJ Hasan, because that’s a title you afford to everyone in the military, even radicals who kill other service members. At one point he proclaimed himself to be the ‘true conservative’ on the thread and he was comfortable occupying the ‘moral high ground’ while the rest of us were outraged over what had happened. He went after a military spouse, calling her something like disgraceful, for being emotionally upset and venting it in her comments.
So, no, I wasn’t using the death of American soldiers to justify anything.
And the ‘blackmail’ bit was taking Breitbart’s statement to its extreme definition to highlight nemecizer’s suddenly clouse moral compass. FWIW, I hope he gets Holder to investigate and punish ACORN, and then releases all the tapes right before the election anyway.

madmonkphotog on November 20, 2009 at 10:22 AM
I for one am absolutely cool with it. Especially when we’re talking about blackmail to get someone to do their friggin’ job. This is exactly the type of case the Federal AG is supposed to investigate and not doing so is a clear dereliction of duty.
Besides, this is really about Obama and any investigation by the AG would be a joke anyway. He’s already shown us several times that the Justice Department is now a purely political organization and has no intention of enforcing the law if it’s against their interests.
So, Breitbart might as well bring this out with a threat just to bring attention to a nationwide criminal conspiracy that is being ignored.
RadClown on November 20, 2009 at 10:22 AM

Holder dropped the voter intimidation case against the NBP. Holder has failed to look into ACORN scandal. Holder moves foreign enemy combatant KSM into American civilian justice system. Holder’s former law firm did pro bono for GITMO detainees. Holder is on the record decrying GITMO and the Military Tribunal System. There are new appointees in the DOJ who represented terrorists at GITMO. Seems that the AG and the DoJ have serious conflicts of interests that interfere with them carrying out their sworn duties.

Breitbart is toast.
He can release tapes of Obama putting poison into his own mother’s tea, and nobody will care except us. We lose elections, so we have no power whatsoever, and everybody seems to know this except us.
The only thing that people care about is what the media is clobbering them with night and day.
The media colludes with the Obama Administration, and therefore colludes with ACORN, SEIU and very other Democrat front group. The media will have Breitbart behind bars before this ends.
Democrats own the world now, not us. They own the government, the media, academia, the courts, and now they even own Big Business. We own nothing.

If they’ve got a bunch of tapes, I’d space them out for release at every major Democratic moment: ObamaCare, cap & trade, card check…etc. Give the tapes to Fox and tie everything the Democrats do to ACORN.

You’re right, I should have come up with a more substantive rejoinder to this…
I doubt that.
I’m afraid you lost the moral high ground after the whole “die in a fire” fiasco. Go back to your hole, lest I get you banned scumbag.
crr6 on November 20, 2009 at 12:50 PM
None whatsoever. His presence alone means a hijacked thread. I’ve watched this jerk hijack threads for what, over a year now and I just finally had enough.
russcote on November 20, 2009 at 12:51 PM
Consider me emboldened by Andrew, Hannah and James’ courage. If HA wants to do it democratically, let’s have a poll to see if he goes.
russcote on November 20, 2009 at 12:52 PM
It took you an hour to come up with that?
I’d say I’m disappointed, but…
crr6 on November 20, 2009 at 12:53 PM
But you’re a stupid idiot.
russcote on November 20, 2009 at 12:54 PM
Wonderful. You’re a modern-day Voltaire.
Are you by any chance related to Norman Blitzer?
crr6 on November 20, 2009 at 12:57 PM
You LIE…
hillbillyjim on November 20, 2009 at 12:58 PM
Roll the dice dirtbag and we’ll see who wins that fight. I could care less about the ‘moral high ground’. You’re a jerk and a loser who contributes nothing but stupidity everywhere you post.
Unless you’ve been registered since the first open registration here more than three years ago, I’m quite certain I’ve been here longer.
Bring it.
russcote on November 20, 2009 at 12:59 PM
Nothing more intellectual need be said about you. You don’t deserve it. Stupid idiot pretty much sums it up.
russcote on November 20, 2009 at 1:01 PM
Exactly.
russcote on November 20, 2009 at 1:02 PM
Yeah, I wonder who’ll win, the guy wishing death on a poster, or the poster he wished death upon. It’s a close one.
Don’t worry though dear, I won’t get you banned for now. You’re far too much fun : )
Yes, I know you’re a scumbag. You’ve made that abundantly clear. No need to clarify.
Oh, it’s already been BROUGHT!
crr6 on November 20, 2009 at 1:03 PM
LOL nice. You really are the gift that keeps on giving.
crr6 on November 20, 2009 at 1:05 PM
Chump. Big mouth, no bite. You feel like compiling your greatest hits versus mine? G’head, I dare you.
Your claim on morality is more tenuous than Holder’s grasp on the law. I could care less about the moral high ground with you because you deserve nothing but contempt. You’re a pathetic troll. Period.
I love intellectual gunfights with the unarmed. I consider it target practice.
russcote on November 20, 2009 at 1:08 PM
Diagram it stupid. Challenge my grammar. Just keep talking whatever you do. Nothing is more amusing than watching stupid people try to fight their way out of a paper bag.
russcote on November 20, 2009 at 1:12 PM
LOL. No one would “compile your greatest hits” because no on gives a cr** about what you post. No one remembers anything you post. I don’t remember you posting before here nor do I care about anything you post.
You’re just another random wingnut adding trite drivel to the mindless choir of agreement. The only difference between you and anyone else here is that you happen to enjoy wishing death on people. Congratulations.
crr6 on November 20, 2009 at 1:14 PM
Gee I think you two should get a room
driver on November 20, 2009 at 1:20 PM
Yeh the folks here are just lining up to back you aren’t they. I made one obvious statement about what a moron you were and three posters jumped at the chance to back me up.
I don’t comment often, but I’ve been here since day 1. Check the archives.
And are you seriously going to tell me that people give a rat’s ass about what you say here? Are you kidding me? I think we just found someone more narcissistic than Obama. Congratulations yourself.
Trust me, nobody cares what you have to say because you have nothing to say.
Beat it.
russcote on November 20, 2009 at 1:22 PM
I was having lunch with your mom. We still haven’t been able to narrow down the list of suspects as to your father.
Jim Treacher on November 20, 2009 at 1:28 PM
And there would be a lot more doing the same had this thread not mercifully dropped off the main page.
I agree with everything you said to “it”. EVERYTHING.
jay12 on November 20, 2009 at 1:29 PM
Hey crr6, maybe you can enlist Treach to help you with your crusade to ban me.
As for the identity of your father, my money’s on mentally challenged chimp.
Idiot.
russcote on November 20, 2009 at 1:30 PM
Where y’at crr6? What happened to the tough guy? You hear a little girl Ace?
Good lookin’ out Jay. Don’t know what it was, but I just got tired of “it”.
russcote on November 20, 2009 at 1:33 PM
Nah.
They’re failing and they know it. They function quite well when they are running the chessboard, but like most over confident blowhards, they will most likely make the mistakes they are making now only 10 fold and find themselves with a few pawns left for defense. In the last 6 months they have weakened greatly and I believe are on the verge of panic.
Itchee Dryback on November 20, 2009 at 1:38 PM
“It” seems to live on here, much like an useless, unwanted parasite.
jay12 on November 20, 2009 at 1:42 PM
I hope that you are correct, but their activities are so deeply rooted in corruption. They aren’t even phased by the $100 million Landrieu revelation, or so it seems.
jay12 on November 20, 2009 at 1:45 PM
It most certainly does.
