Obama has met all the criteria that was asked of him concerning where he was born.
We are stuck with him……
BTW, have you heard that the Health Office in Kenya was broken into, and only the files with the last name beginning with Ob were stolen, only one record?

I’m sorry, but that’s akin to 9-11 Troofers claiming that Bush is “feeding the fire” because he doesn’t give press conferences and issue documents proving that he didn’t order planted or personally plant explosives in the World Trade Center.

While I’m not terribly concerned about whether BHO is a natural-born citizen (I think he probably is), I am concerned that there is evidently no system in place to verify a person’s eligibility to run for national office. I am also concerned about the number of people who think it’s not a big deal if a foreign born person becomes president.
We can argue about the interpretations of various bits of language in the constitution, but we should at least be able to get the simple stuff right.

He was behaving “like” the liberal thugs on this issue by insulting his readers before even the first paragraph of the article he wrote for NR and stating that it doesn’t matter what the Constitution says because so many millions of ballots had already been cast. That is a subtly different argument from saying that Obama has provided all if the legal information to the proper authorities. How is this any different from what goes on here all the time? The loudest ones get the define the group. That’s common. Most commenters use that against gays and talk about the anti-Prop 8 mob and the Fair where men walk around naked, performing sex acts on each other.
Obviously those people don’t represent all gays, but they’re loud enough that they reflect poorly on all gays.
It’s a really simple concept, one that has nothing to do with me and everything to do with people like you who shout the loudest.

Esthier on December 15, 2008 at 2:00 PM
Unfortunately, many people are satisfied with almost nothing from The One. My understanding is that a computer-generated “short form,” with some important information redacted (and that is not accepted by Hawaii’s Dept. of Homelands) was produced. Also (and I am no expert on Hawaii’s system), I understand that Hawaii issues birth certificates for babies born elsewhere, so even an “official record” doesn’t entirely answer the question.

aengus on December 15, 2008 at 1:35 PM
Actually you are about two weeks late…I have been hurling insults at you birthers for the past two weeks.
You deserve to be insulted, it is insane (and embarrassing) what you have been proposing, here are some of the weird things that deserve to be ridiculed:
He was born a plane
He was born in Saudi Arabia
He was born in Saudi Arabia, flown to Kenya, then to Hawaii
His real last name is Soltera (or something like that)
He was born in Kenya, then was shuttled secretly to Hawaii
Kenyans have hidden his real BC
You can change your birth place just by requesting
(No other person has ever been found to be born someplace else, then listed as Hawaii, he would have been the only person ever reported to have done this)
Kenya gives tourists a “tour” of where he was born
His identification would not allow him to get a drivers license in Hawaii (my favorite from Romeo)
His father was involved in some nut farm fiasco
Berg, your leader, has a lawsuit against Bush for planning 9/11 (that’s the leader of your cause)
Being born in Hawaii does not make you a citizen
The gov. ordered his BC to be sealed
Obama has armed guards at all the hospitals
Obama, when going to see his dying grandmother, really went to hide his BC
The low resolution scan of his COLB on the internet didn’t have:
Folds
Signature
Embossed
The correct border
The right kind of ink (also a favorite, all seen from a scan)
Hawaii as the place of birth (that one was correct, it said Honolulu, since Hawaii wasn’t a state then)
Clear print
All from one “self proclaimed” expert, whom no knows the true identity (or cares)
The expert listed 5 problems, all 5 have been addressed and resoved, but it is still the same 5 reported again and again.
and then….
The official spokesperson official of the Hawaiian Health and Services Dept. was asked the ultimate question…Was Obama born in Hawaii? and the answer was, Yes, he was born in Hawaii, the COLB is accurate.
There is so much more that has escaped me but now reading this you can see why I think you birthers, around this issue, are Koo-Koo…
(oh, did I mention, no court has upheld anything the birthers state as fact?
right2bright on December 15, 2008 at 3:13 PM
As long as there are liberal activist judges this is not going anywhere. If the 0 has nothing to hide, which I strongly suspect he does, than just produce the damn document and be done with it. My God, at least Bubba waited until he was IN office before getting embroiled in scandal. The 0 has 36 days until he’s sworn in and already he is in the middle of two, this birth certificate thing and the Blago fiasco. WTF have the liberals gotten us into THIS TIME?????

The official spokesperson of the Dept, when asked specifically “Was Obama born in Hawaii”, her answer was “YES, he was born in Hawaii”. Both in an interview and in an email, she confirmed it. That was after the head of the Dept. looked at the original BC.
But it won’t matter to you, you will find another issue…

People would still claim that it’s doctored or that it really doesn’t matter because in Hawaii… etc….
Esthier on December 15, 2008 at 3:08 PM
Sure some will, but a great number of questioners would be satisfied. What is the big deal with just releasing it? No one has been able to answer that.
If Obama had not been so secretive or evasive in answering quesions about his past, or releasing other records such as his school transcripts or medical records maybe it wouldn’t be such a big deal … but this is Obama’s MO, hiding every aspect of his life because for the most part his past wouldn’t serve him well if the public knew everything about him. Add that to his refusal to release his BC and it makes one wonder.
darwin on December 15, 2008 at 3:17 PM

What Dept. in the state, says the COLB is not an official document of birth?
And we will see how much you understand your argument.
Then one more small question, easy to answer.
How many Hawaiians, born in the past 50 years have been issued the COLB? Here let me answer that for you….100%, that’s right, every Hawaiian born in Hawaii is issued the official document, a COLB. It is the accepted document, throughout the U.S. and the world for over 50 years.

Obama refuses to show his original BC.

It could all be put to rest if Obama says two words … “release it”.

AT BIRTH MEANING AT THE TIME OF HIS BIRTH. Knuckleheads who claim that status changed when he was 21 need to re-read that last part.
. One CANNOT CHANGE what they were AT BIRTH. EX: If you were female AT BIRTH & HAD A SEX CHANGE LATER IN LIFE, YOU may legally be MALE FROM THEN ON BUT AT BIRTH YOU WERE FEMALEand that condition AT BIRTH CANNOT EVER CHANGE. PERIOD- NO PUN INTENDED.
.
Here’s the post meant for CNN:
.
WHAT PEOPLE DON’T GET IS THAT NEXT TIME WHEN IT IS A PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE WHO WAS BORN IN IRAN THAT IS ON THE BALLOT & ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE, THERE WILL BE NO RECOURSE BECAUSE THE SUPREME COURT HAS COMPLETELY TAKEN AWAY OUR RIGHT TO PURSUE THIS WHOLE AREA OF ELIGIBILITY BY REFUSING TO HEAR THESE CASES.
. Once the Supreme Court refuses a case, the lower court’s rulings stand FOREVER AND EVER – ACROSS THE BOARD.
.
Even if you supported Obama or McCain, this ruling SHOULD SEND A CHILL UP YOUR SPINE FOR THE FUTURE ELECTIONS. Anyone, with ANY ALLEGIANCE, EVEN TO AN ENEMY NATION LIKE IRAN, CAN RUN FOR PRESIDENT WITHOUT CHALLENGE.
LET THAT SINK IN. HUGO CHAVEZ COULD RUN FOR PRESIDENT. EVEN IF YOU KNOW HE IS NOT A CITIZEN,
.
THERE IS NO LONGER EVEN A SYSTEM IN PLACE TO REMOVE HIM FROM A BALLOT.
.
IT WAS UP TO THE 50 SECRETARIES OF STATE TO MAKE SURE OF ELIGIBILITY. IN ALL BUT 15 STATES, THEY LET A NICARAGUAN IMMIGRANT, ROGER CALERO, ON THE PRES. BALLOT! THEY HAVE DROPPED THE BALL & WHEN SUED, THEY HAVE WON IN STATE COURT & NOW IN THE SUPREME COURT. THERE IS NO WHERE ELSE TO GO. IT’S DONE. .
.
12-15-08 WILL GO DOWN AS THE DAY THE SUPREME COURT THREW THE CONSTITUTION IN THE TRASH & AMERICA, a COUNTRY BASED ON THE RULE OF LAW (READ: CONSTITUTION) AS WE KNEW IT CEASED TO EXIST. R.I.P.
. CONGRATS TO ALL THE KOOL-AID DRINKERS WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS EVER ABOUT A BIRTH CERTIFICATE, OR DEMS VS REPUBS. WE MAY END UP WITH A PRESIDENT HUGO CHAVEZ BECAUSE STUPID PEOPLE DIDN’T GET WHAT WAS AT STAKE: THE FUTURE OF THE U.S.A.

The state of Hawaii has never said it released a COLB for Obama.
darwin on December 15, 2008 at 3:31 PM
What do you mean they have never said they released it.
Do you think they make a statement every time they release a COLB? they did that in 2007…good grief
I can’t believe you are not embarrassed by your comments…
She said, the COLB and the BC, there were no discrepancies.
Man, as I said, if you resolve one issue with you guys, you create another out of thin air.
And BTW, the State of Hawaii has never officially announced that Obama is in fact alive…I have checked and they have never said “Obama is alive”…look into that.
right2bright on December 15, 2008 at 3:42 PM
She did not. How difficult is it to understand the state of Hawaii has never mentioned that COLB?

Just in case it needs to be said, both the Donofrio and the Wrotonowski Supreme Court cases were CHALLENGING NOT ONLY OBAMA’S ELIGIBILITY BUT McCAIN’S AND ROGER CALERO’S ELIGIBILITY AS WELL. Both cases started out suing their own state’s secretary of state when they refused to do their constitutional job of making sure the candidates are eligible before placing their name on the state’s ballot. Donofrio’s case started in October & reached SCOTUS on Nov. 3 asking for an emergency stay of the election until this procedure was carried out for all 3 candidates.

right2bright on December 15, 2008 at 3:42 PM
Why to you continue to distort and embellish? She never mentioned the COLB
Citing her statutory authority to oversee and maintain Hawaii’s vital records, Fukino said she has “personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.
You simply have no answer for why that COLB have never been legitimized by Hawaii, or why Obama won’t simply release his BC.
If I come up with the quote that she said he was born in Hawaii, you will never post on this subject again, Okay?
As I said before … then it should be no problem for Obama to just release it then.
Why are you so against anyone who simply wants him to produce a document that he should have absolutely no problem producing?
darwin on December 15, 2008 at 3:59 PM
but this is Obama’s MO, hiding every aspect of his life because for the most part his past wouldn’t serve him well if the public knew everything about him.
darwin on December 15, 2008 at 3:17 PM
So it’s far from surprising that he’d continue that pattern.
And I’m just not convinced that releasing the certificate would do anything to ease any concerns. If what right is saying is true, that the head of the department look at his certificate and stated on the record that Obama was born there, what more could anyone ask for?

Obama has made his official COLB public.
The state has said that he was born in Hawaii.
Obama has used the same form that for over 50 years has been the official legal document of birth.
He was born in Honolulu, he is a citizen…you may know more then the supreme court justices, you may have a more advance knowledge of law, and you may be a constitutional lawyer…
but the fact is, Obama was born in Honolulu, and his mother was a citizen of the U.S.

Most commenters use that against gays and talk about the anti-Prop 8 mob and the Fair where men walk around naked, performing sex acts on each other.
Obviously those people don’t represent all gays, but they’re loud enough that they reflect poorly on all gays.
Esthier on December 15, 2008 at 2:00 PM
Not obvious to me, or to most normal people.
Think about it – a group of people are dedicated to two propositions: (1) they desire to practice deviant sexual acts, and (2) they desire to pretend to be normal while doing these deviant acts.
Now you can characterize this any way you want but the truth is that they all agree to both defraud the normal people AND prove their disapproval by doing deviant sex acts.
Public or private really doesn’t matter because it does not change the nature of the group. They are rebellious people determined to stay rebellious. They hate normal people and their proof is when normal people lie about homosexual acts being an equivocal alternative lifestyle/devotion.
The truth is that what is seen on zombietime is what is in the hearts of all of their brethren. It’s their “smells like victory” dance.
platypus on December 15, 2008 at 5:01 PM

Esthier on December 15, 2008 at 5:06 PM
It’s not a debate – it’s truth.
Heterosexuals do not define themselves by the type of sex acts they perform. They generally get married and produce children, something deviant sex acts cannot accomplish.
But you’ve made it clear where your sympathies are. No problem – this is a free country. But you do not get to unfairly slime normal people by using the false premise that ANY deviant sex adherents are ever normal. They are not, by their own definition standards.
They define themselves using deviant sex acts with persons of the same gender as the only qualification needed in order to be identified as a member of the group.
platypus on December 15, 2008 at 5:18 PM
But you’ve made it clear where your sympathies are.
Yes, my sympathies lie with anyone being unfairly attacked. If someone does the same to you, then you’ll be the one with my sympathies and support.
It’s becoming a problem for me, as I get hated by both Christians an atheists here. But I suppose I’d rather be hated than liked by people like that, so it’s not so much a problem.
But you do not get to unfairly slime normal people by using the false premise that ANY deviant sex adherents are ever normal. They are not, by their own definition standards.
Obviously. Deviant is by definition not normal. Though what is commonly known as deviant and what actually is deviant are often two different things.

JiangxDad, you are referring to Senate Resolution 511(AGREED TO BY THE SENATE ON APRIL 10, 2008) I presume.
Here is one strong argument that I have found but do not necessarily agree with:.
2d Session S. RES. 511: Recognizing that John Sidney McCain, III, is a natural born citizen.: In the Senate of the United States.” was Sponsored by Senator McCaskill and co-sponsored by Senators Leahy, Obama, Coburn, Clinton and Webb.
. Why were Democratic Senators trying to pass a Resolution making Senator McCain undoubtedly Legally Eligible when this issue had already been cleared up in 2000 and again in 2004? And why did Senators McCaskill and Obam a reportedly insert the following Clause?. *****“Whereas previous presidential candidates were born outside of the United States of America and were understood to be eligible to be President”*****
. This Clause has NO particular relevance to McCain and the following Clause, which it is reported McCaskill and Obama attempted to REMOVE shows that: “… and Whereas John Sidney McCain, III, was born to American citizens on an American military base in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936:…”
. It has been suggested that McCaskill and Obama were attempting to create a blanket Resolution covering ALL Foreign Born candidates. Why do that if not to benefit a Foreign Born Democratic Candidate, who did not have a US Military background?
McCain & Richardson did not need this resolution… nobody needed this Resolution unless somebody in the race was born outside the USA and was “Covering his/her Ass” and the only individual in the race that that could apply to was Senator Obama!…
. LET ME STRESS AGAIN, THIS IS NOT MY OPINION OR ONE I AGREE WITH. I prefer to keep the focus on the ADMITTED FACT OF OBAMA’S DUAL CITIZENSHIP AT BIRTH.
.
But the resolution brings with it another set of questions entirely, imho. Why a non-binding meaningless resolution? If there is real support for this, WHY DIDN’T THE SENATORS TRY TO AMEND THE CONSTITUTION?? Could it be because they KNEW AMERICANS WOULD NOT ALLOW THIS KIND OF CHANGE (once it was SPELLED OUT IN 4TH GRADE LANGUAGE BY THE OPPOSITION)DAMN RIGHT. SO THEY GOT THEIR WAY THROUGH (SUPREME COURT) DEFAULT.

I NEVER used the words “horrible” or “leaving” when referring to HotAir. I HAVE BEEN HERE FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS & have seen things change AND CHANGE BACK. COLOR ME HOPEFUL.
.
I may have used “horrible” elsewhere like what I said a while back when YOU GAVE US ALL WAY TOO MUCH INFO about how you found out PRIOR TO YOUR WEDDING about your CURRENT/LONGTIME HUSBAND and HIS BEING SERVICED BY A STRIPPER on the EVE of YOUR WEDDING.
. THAT WHOLE THING HAD MANY OF US REACHING FOR THE BRAIN BLEACH & I MAY HAVE USED “HORRIBLE” ABOUT THAT; EVEN THOUGHT “HORRIBLE” ISN’T QUITE STRONG ENOUGH TO DESCRIBE WHAT HE DID TO YOU (NOT TO MENTION THAT YOU STILL MARRIED HIM!)
.
You talk so freely about him & what you call “deviant” sexuality on this & other threads. There are other sites that may cater more to your favorite “topic”. I can only hope you are seeing someone professional for this. UH, I MEAN, A THERAPIST. UH, I MEAN A PSYCHO-THERAPIST.
.
QUESTION FOR YOU: WHY ARE YOU HIJACKING YET ANOTHER THREAD WITH TALK ABOUT HOMO/HETERO SEXUALITY?
. REMEMBER YOUR WARNING TO ME FROM YESTERDAY: “LOOK, YOU WILL BE BANNED…”??????? I know, you were ONLY TRYING TO HELP… BLAH, BLAH, WHATEVER.

BUT YOUR RANTS ARE OFF TOPIC AGAIN. How can I say this politely? Oh, yeah, when it comes to inserting yourself into my comments, how about you just STFU PLEASE.

Again, I’ll leave that to the conspiracy theorists. I prefer to stick to the facts that have been stipulated by Obama. He was a DUAL CITIZEN AT BIRTH. THAT CANNOT CHANGE EVER. UNLESS THE CONSTITUTION CHANGES, HE WILL NEVER BE A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN. If he was born in the U.S. (Hawaii or wherever) he is certainly a CITIZEN; EVEN A “BORN CITIZEN” JUST NOT NATURAL BORN & NOT AT THE TIME OF HIS BIRTH.

This isn’t narcissism. When a bunch of Republicans start yelling conspiracy, it reflects on all Republicans. You don’t have to let that influence your decision to support these Supreme Court cases, but it is a fact.

MadisonConservative on December 15, 2008 at 1:20 PM
Its all worth it if only for establishing beyond a shadow of a doubt that David Horowitz and other like-minded liberal thugs don’t care whether the Constitution is followed or not.
aengus on December 15, 2008 at 1:21 PM
It’s not about me. I never said it was. It’s actually all about you.
Esthier on December 15, 2008 at 1:21 PM
While I’m not terribly concerned about whether BHO is a natural-born citizen (I think he probably is), I am concerned that there is evidently no system in place to verify a person’s eligibility to run for national office. I am also concerned about the number of people who think it’s not a big deal if a foreign born person becomes president.
We can argue about the interpretations of various bits of language in the constitution, but we should at least be able to get the simple stuff right.
Farmer_Joe on December 15, 2008 at 1:23 PM
He doesn’t have to, he has met all the requirements (except integrity).
What he presented was the official legal document, and confirmed accurate by the Official at the Health and Services Dept. of Hawaii.
Now go find some other conspiracy, your leader Berg still has his lawsuit against Bush for planning 9/11.
This is what you get when you team up with a fool like Berg…you get ridiculed and laughed at.
right2bright on December 15, 2008 at 1:24 PM
That might be a legitimate reason if not for the fact that Hawaii issues Certifications of Live Birth to people born outside the country.
I find the lack of intellectual curiosity by some of the ridiculers frightening when it involves something so important. And to compare it to 9-11 is absurd.
mrsmwp on December 15, 2008 at 1:24 PM
News flash: David Horowitz is a conservative. You people are birthers. There’s a reason the word “birther” isn’t dissimilar to “bircher”.
MadisonConservative on December 15, 2008 at 1:24 PM

mrsmwp on December 15, 2008 at 1:31 PM
I didn’t call David Horowitz a liberal. I’m not a member of the John Birther Society either, I just thought the Hororwitz article was a disgrace. What sort of a writer starts an article with the words “Shut up”? Bullying and insulting language is bad enough on blogs without it being used in magazines.
Also Horowitz didn’t say that Obama was definitely a natural born citizen, he said it didn’t matter because 64 million people has already cast their ballot for Obama and that was that.
aengus on December 15, 2008 at 1:31 PM

aengus on December 15, 2008 at 1:35 PM

He was beaten down before this last ruling…he knows he was on a losing side.
right2bright on December 15, 2008 at 1:36 PM
He was behaving “like” the liberal thugs on this issue by insulting his readers before even the first paragraph of the article he wrote for NR and stating that it doesn’t matter what the Constitution says because so many millions of ballots had already been cast. That is a subtly different argument from saying that Obama has provided all if the legal information to the proper authorities. Horowitz said it doesn’t matter and insulted people for bringing it up, the latter of which you and MadConservative have also done.
aengus on December 15, 2008 at 1:39 PM
I disagree. He is obligated to demonstrate he meets the Constitutional requirements of the office. He does not have to answer every crackpot question out there, but whether or not he is a natural-born citizen and therefore eligible to serve as President is not a minor question.
DrMagnolias on December 15, 2008 at 1:44 PM
Lots of insults and no valid argument. No wonder the Democrats scare you.
snaggletoothie on December 15, 2008 at 1:44 PM

luckybogey on December 15, 2008 at 1:59 PM
Then we agree as I’ve never said otherwise. The fact remains that he has given what has been considered sufficient proof to the people whose opinion on the subject actually matters.
He has to prove it to their satisfaction, not ours.
Heh.
I thought they were Proofers and that Andrew Sullivan was a Birther? It’s getting hard to separate all them.
The state of Hawaii has never confirmed it released that document or verified it’s authenticity. All they’ve ever stated is they have his birth certificate on file.
If you have a link to the state verifying the certificate of live birth please post it.
darwin on December 15, 2008 at 2:04 PM
Are you trying to claim they have birth certificates on file of people who weren’t born there?
Esthier on December 15, 2008 at 2:12 PM
If you’re not a kook, looking for exotic derivations and complicated definitions of “natural-born,” I submit that natural-born means “not adopted.” That’s all it really means.
RBMN on December 15, 2008 at 2:14 PM
The reason Obama doesn’t want people to see his real birth certificate is it has proof he’s not black.
For reels.
frankj on December 15, 2008 at 2:18 PM
Unfortunately, many people are satisfied with almost nothing from The One. My understanding is that a computer-generated “short form,” with some important information redacted (and that is not accepted by Hawaii’s Dept. of Homelands) was produced. Also (and I am no expert on Hawaii’s system), I understand that Hawaii issues birth certificates for babies born elsewhere, so even an “official record” doesn’t entirely answer the question.
DrMagnolias on December 15, 2008 at 2:24 PM

darwin on December 15, 2008 at 2:27 PM
poor, poor right2bright. He reads, buts doesn’t understand.
faraway on December 15, 2008 at 2:35 PM
I suppose you’re referring to this:
There’s a difference between a Birth Certificate and a Certification of Live Birth. If there weren’t you would stop this nonsense, as Obama already released the latter.
Esthier on December 15, 2008 at 2:43 PM
If that’s the case, then nothing could, and that would be the fault of Hawaii, not Obama.
Esthier on December 15, 2008 at 2:45 PM
You don’t have a concept you have a fallacious argument. Come back with a valid argument and we can talk. But, so far, you merely want to insult anyone who doesn’t agree with you.
snaggletoothie on December 15, 2008 at 2:48 PM
I haven’t insulted anyone. I disagree with your argument and feel it has no validity (just as you’re doing with me) and feel that because it has no validity it reflects poorly on Republicans.
But if that’s insulting, then so are your comments.
Esthier on December 15, 2008 at 2:55 PM
I agree that Hawaii’s policies are not Obama’s fault; nevertheless, the burden of demonstrating he meets the Constitution’s requirements for holding the office of President is on the person seeking it, not on the electorate.
DrMagnolias on December 15, 2008 at 2:56 PM
The state of Hawaii has neither confirmed or verified that they indeed released that document. All questions could easily be silenced if Obama would simply release his birth certificate to the public. Maybe you have a good answer as to why he won’t.
Regardless of how snide you and other commenters are concerning this issue it is a valid one.
darwin on December 15, 2008 at 3:00 PM
Yes, but if none of the standards can be met because of Hawaii, then there’s nothing he can do.
You just asked if I read, and now you’re accusing me of being snide?
And no, the questions would not be silenced by that. People would still claim that it’s doctored or that it really doesn’t matter because in Hawaii… etc….
Esthier on December 15, 2008 at 3:08 PM
Actually you are about two weeks late…I have been hurling insults at you birthers for the past two weeks.
You deserve to be insulted, it is insane (and embarrassing) what you have been proposing, here are some of the weird things that deserve to be ridiculed:
He was born a plane
He was born in Saudi Arabia
He was born in Saudi Arabia, flown to Kenya, then to Hawaii
His real last name is Soltera (or something like that)
He was born in Kenya, then was shuttled
secretly to Hawaii
Scott on December 15, 2008 at 3:16 PM
I have linked it a dozen times.
The official spokesperson of the Dept, when asked specifically “Was Obama born in Hawaii”, her answer was “YES, he was born in Hawaii”. Both in an interview and in an email, she confirmed it. That was after the head of the Dept. looked at the original BC.
But it won’t matter to you, you will find another issue…
right2bright on December 15, 2008 at 3:16 PM
Sure some will, but a great number of questioners would be satisfied. What is the big deal with just releasing it? No one has been able to answer that.
If Obama had not been so secretive or evasive in answering quesions about his past, or releasing other records such as his school transcripts or medical records maybe it wouldn’t be such a big deal … but this is Obama’s MO, hiding every aspect of his life because for the most part his past wouldn’t serve him well if the public knew everything about him. Add that to his refusal to release his BC and it makes one wonder.
darwin on December 15, 2008 at 3:17 PM
That is not confirming or verifying the release of the COLB that went around.
Second point, if that’s the case … he was born in Hawaii then releasing his BC shouldn’t be a problem then.
darwin on December 15, 2008 at 3:19 PM
I understand you are Koo-Koo…
OK, you tell me the name of the Government official that says that Obama’s COLB is suspect.
What Dept. in the state, says the COLB is not an official document of birth?
And we will see how much you understand your argument.
Then one more small question, easy to answer.
How many Hawaiians, born in the past 50 years have been issued the COLB? Here let me answer that for you….100%, that’s right, every Hawaiian born in Hawaii is issued the official document, a COLB. It is the accepted document, throughout the U.S. and the world for over 50 years.
Show me the one case it was not accepted.
right2bright on December 15, 2008 at 3:22 PM
Well, she said it was.
And why should he, he has the accepted document…
right2bright on December 15, 2008 at 3:23 PM
So now you lost your “valid” argument…care to throw out another argument?
right2bright on December 15, 2008 at 3:25 PM
She did not. How difficult is it to understand the state of Hawaii has never mentioned that COLB?
Why should he release his BC? Because someone asked him to. It’s that simple. Prove you meet the Constitutional requirement. Not to do so is not only suspicious but disrespectful to the American public.
darwin on December 15, 2008 at 3:27 PM
I haven’t lost anything.
To date:
The state of Hawaii has never said it released a COLB for Obama.
Obama refuses to show his original BC.
That’s where this stands.
It could all be put to rest if Obama says two words … “release it”.
darwin on December 15, 2008 at 3:31 PM
I wasn’t going to waste my time posting anything here, but after I finished writing a comment to post on the CNN site they had closed the comments. So I’ll post it here instead and let all the people who claim this was about the birth certificate and not the fact Obama himself has stated he had DUAL CITIZENSHIP AT BIRTH.
NightmareOnKStreet on December 15, 2008 at 3:35 PM
What do you mean they have never said they released it.
Do you think they make a statement every time they release a COLB? they did that in 2007…good grief
I can’t believe you are not embarrassed by your comments…
She said, the COLB and the BC, there were no discrepancies.
Man, as I said, if you resolve one issue with you guys, you create another out of thin air.
And BTW, the State of Hawaii has never officially announced that Obama is in fact alive…I have checked and they have never said “Obama is alive”…look into that.
right2bright on December 15, 2008 at 3:42 PM
If I come up with the quote that she said he was born in Hawaii, you will never post on this subject again, Okay?

Even the Chinese gymnasts proved their age, the least Barry Oblago could do is release his birth certificate.
Corsair on December 15, 2008 at 3:48 PM
.
NightmareOnKStreet on December 15, 2008 at 3:50 PM

NightmareOnKStreet on December 15, 2008 at 3:57 PM
Why to you continue to distort and embellish? She never mentioned the COLB
Citing her statutory authority to oversee and maintain Hawaii’s vital records, Fukino said she has “personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.
You simply have no answer for why that COLB have never been legitimized by Hawaii, or why Obama won’t simply release his BC.
As I said before … then it should be no problem for Obama to just release it then.
Why are you so against anyone who simply wants him to produce a document that he should have absolutely no problem producing?
darwin on December 15, 2008 at 3:59 PM
So it’s far from surprising that he’d continue that pattern.
And I’m just not convinced that releasing the certificate would do anything to ease any concerns. If what right is saying is true, that the head of the department look at his certificate and stated on the record that Obama was born there, what more could anyone ask for?
Esthier on December 15, 2008 at 4:01 PM
You seem to be on these threads more than the birthers. I’m not sure who is more obsessed with the issue.
Connie on December 15, 2008 at 4:04 PM
Obama has made his official COLB public.
The state has said that he was born in Hawaii.
Obama has used the same form that for over 50 years has been the official legal document of birth.
He was born in Honolulu, he is a citizen…you may know more then the supreme court justices, you may have a more advance knowledge of law, and you may be a constitutional lawyer…
but the fact is, Obama was born in Honolulu, and his mother was a citizen of the U.S.
Now, what school did you get your law degree from?

I don’t know, and I understand your frustration. McCain should have done it. It would have been too hard to deny him standing or to dismiss him.
I know you are fed up to your eyes with this crap, but if you can, explain to me why in the world it was Barak Obama who long ago led the charge in the Senate to verify McCain’s eligibility to run. That has never made sense to me. I have never heard him associated with any legislation except that and abortion.
Also, what was the end result of the snooping of Obama’s passport records? Motive?

That would be awesome. I’d almost gain respect for him even. Can you imagine what those talks with our enemies would be like?
Esthier on December 15, 2008 at 4:35 PM
The same deviant sex acts that many heterosexual couples enjoy as well.
I’m not going to debate you on this.
Yes, my sympathies lie with anyone being unfairly attacked. If someone does the same to you, then you’ll be the one with my sympathies and support.
It’s becoming a problem for me, as I get hated by both Christians an atheists here. But I suppose I’d rather be hated than liked by people like that, so it’s not so much a problem.
Obviously. Deviant is by definition not normal. Though what is commonly known as deviant and what actually is deviant are often two different things.
Esthier on December 15, 2008 at 5:22 PM
JiangxDad, you are referring to Senate Resolution 511(AGREED TO BY THE SENATE ON APRIL 10, 2008) I presume.
Here is one strong argument that I have found but do not necessarily agree with:.
Could it be because they KNEW AMERICANS WOULD NOT ALLOW THIS KIND OF CHANGE (once it was SPELLED OUT IN 4TH GRADE LANGUAGE BY THE OPPOSITION) DAMN RIGHT. SO THEY GOT THEIR WAY THROUGH (SUPREME COURT) DEFAULT.

QUESTION FOR YOU: WHY ARE YOU HIJACKING YET ANOTHER THREAD WITH TALK ABOUT HOMO/HETERO SEXUALITY?
.
REMEMBER YOUR WARNING TO ME FROM YESTERDAY: “LOOK, YOU WILL BE BANNED…”??????? I know, you were ONLY TRYING TO HELP… BLAH, BLAH, WHATEVER.
.

Only if you return the favor, but I know that’s asking too much. So why don’t you shut the f#ck up instead?

“…shut the f#ck up instead?” Oh, what a CLEVER PLAY ON WORDS. Such an ASSet here. Tell, me do you kiss your husband with that foul mouth? Oh, wait…
NightmareOnKStreet on December 15, 2008 at 6:22 PM
You just told me to STFU. Don’t you understand what those letters stand for?
Esthier on December 15, 2008 at 6:28 PM
I’ve been around for over two years, and you????
Have any more “threats”.

If YOU “understand”, why did YOU bother to write TO ME? …Always minding other people’s business/sex life/comments/sex life; but you can’t seem help running YOUR OWN OFF INTO A DITCH THOUGH, huh?
.
Psssst, Esthier, your husband called. He said HE WANTS A LAPDANCE. Oh, and he said to tell YOU NOT TO WAIT UP FOR HIM. Time for you to “tick-a-lock” yet?
NightmareOnKStreet on December 15, 2008 at 7:20 PM
Because I’m not listening to you so long as you’re being hypocritical. Nice comeback though. First you say it’s wrong to write something resembling the word f#ck, then when I point out that you did the exact same thing, you come back with this.
Ouch, that stings. Really, I’m crying on my laptop now because of your awesome wit. My husband once got a lap dance. He’s the only husband in the entire world to ever get one. I’m a marked woman now.
I just… can’t… go on living….

JiangxiDad, As I said, this is beyond my focus. I thought I could help you out with some links on it, but couldn’t locate them. I’m surprised how much digging I had to do to get anything (other than blog postings) about it. This is the first actual full length article I’ve come across with related links etc. I’m not sure what you’re looking for, but hope you find it.

First you claim, “you say it’s wrong to write something resembling the word f#ck…” YOU ARE SO DELUSIONAL. WHERE DID I SAY ANYTHING REMOTELY LIKE THAT?
.
Then you claim, “My husband once got a lap dance. He’s the only husband in the entire world to ever get one.”. Now you’ve past Delusional and entered the Stupid Zone. But, BOTH OF YOUR STATEMENTS ARE EQUALLY PLAUSIBLE. Hehe. (They say the wife’s always the last to know, hon, but any guy that will do THAT TO YOU ON THE NIGHT BEFORE YOU’RE GOING TO MARRY HIM IS PROBABLY NOT RELYING ON HIS LAPTOP TO KEEP HIS LAP WARM LIKE YOU ARE.)
.
Now you claim, “I just… can’t… go on living…” PROMISE? Now, beyond Delusional, you’ve now passed through the Stupid Zone and jumped on the Crazy Train!
.
But it does prove my earlier optimism
.
.
RIP, Esthier. .
.
BTW, UNLIKE YOU, I NEVER SAID I AGREED TO DO AS YOU ASKED.
Now that you’re no longer living, I hope this means you’ll finally STFU?
.
Not that it matters, I have something more compelling (than awaiting your next carefully worded rant) to do: clean my sock drawer. Toodles everyone & goodbye forever/good riddance my dear dead Esthier. |oX
