I’ll judge the judges today on the outcome of D.C. v Heller.

Republicans overwhelmingly believe that Justices should be guided by what’s written in the Constitution and precedent. However, a plurality (42%) of GOP voters believe the Justices typically act on their own individual notions of fairness and justice.
For Democrats, the opposite dynamic is in play. Fifty-two percent (52%) want the Court guided by individual notions of fairness and justice. However, by a two-to one margin, Barack Obama’s party believe the Court is guided primarily by the written words of the Constitution.
That really does tell you everything you need to know right there.

This falls under the umbrella of “No Shit!” You can’t continue to undermine the very constitution you have taken an oath to protect, and not have America get pissed. This country is not left leaning and does not agree with allowing terrorists to get their day in court. America is a center-right leaning country that wants see the terrorists destroyed wherever they may be. We have seen the folly of putting terrorists on trial with the ‘93 WTC bombing terrorists. Not only are we paying to keep these murderous cretins alive and in our jails, we have seen lawyers for the terrorists help them get info to other terrorists! (I can’t remember that fat, ugly, scum-sucking female attorney’s name but she should have been hanged as a traitor)

Habeas corpus for foreign combatants was a real shocker. Awful implications for national security.
Holding fingers in the crossed position for DC gun control ruling.

Hard to decide which one is worse, habeas corpus or Kelo. We will see if “The SCOTUS FIVE” can out due both those decisions and shoot down the 2nd amendment today.
Blowback
