A real reporter angers Biden with "a lousy question" about phone calls with Hunter

Fox News Channel’s Peter Doocy is one of the very few with the cojones to do his job as a White House correspondent. He asks the questions of Joe Biden that at least half of America would like answered. Wednesday brought about a classic Doocy-Biden moment.

Peter Doocy has just returned from being away from his job on paternity leave. His wife works as a reporter on Capitol Hill for Fox Business Channel. She took maternity leave when she delivered their daughter then when she came back to work, Peter took off. I’ll tell you, it’s a whole different world than when I was their age. Peter was missed because he can be counted on to ask the tough questions during White House press briefings with the press secretary and during rare press opportunities with Biden. Every now and then Biden will answer a question yelled by the White House press corps as he walks to Marine One on the White House lawn. He usually avoids calling on Doocy.

Wednesday, on the campaign trail, Biden delivered remarks about green energy and Bidenomics in New Mexico. Afterwards, he was working the room and talking to those in attendance. The press were separated by a security barrier. Suddenly, Biden called Doocy over. Doocy jumped over the metal security barrier and went over to ask the president a question. It went about as well as expected.

“I knew you’d have a lousy question.” That means a real question that The Big Guy doesn’t want to answer.

Doocy was asking about his alleged involvement in Hunter’s business dealings via phone calls from his son, as Devon Archer testified to. Archer told the House Oversight Committee that Hunter placed phone calls to his father during business dinners, maybe up to 20 times that he remembers. That is not normal behavior for a grown man to call his daddy during a business dinner with VIPs, often from other countries, and put the old man on speakerphone as proof that Hunter can get his father on the phone. Those phone calls were proof that Hunter just wanted to prove he had access to the old man, according to Archer. Hunter was, after all, selling access to Joe Biden for millions of dollars.

The press and other Democrats have been dutifully running cover for the Biden crime family. Why, the only topics discussed during those dinner phone calls were simple pleasantries and the weather. A short greeting from the then-vice president and that was that. Nothing to see here. Just move along.

The White House excuse machine has changed its narrative a bit in recent weeks. It started out with denials that Biden knew anything about his son’s business dealings. Biden denied ever talking with Hunter about business. That morphed into Biden was “never in business” with Hunter. In July, KJP answered FNC’s Gillian Turner’s question about Biden communicating with foreign business associates of Hunter.

“Chairman James Comer today says that the Oversight Committee has evidence that the president in the past communicated directly with foreign business associates of his son Hunter Biden many times. Curious if the White House and the president still stand behind his comment that he’s never been involved and has never even spoken to his son about his business?” Fox News journalist Gillian Turner asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre in July.

“So, I’ve been I’ve been asked this question a million times. The answer is not going to change. The answer remains the same. The president was never in business with his son. I just don’t have anything else to add,” Jean-Pierre insisted.

Comey’s oversight committee is uncovering and exposing too much evidence for Joe Biden to claim innocence for much longer.

Biden’s response to Doocy today came just hours after Republicans released new bank statements detailing $20M in payments from Russia, China, and Kazakhstan to the Biden family and associates.

Hunter’s former business partner Archer testified to the House Oversight Committee last week that the then-vice president had been present on speakerphone around 20 times over 10 years while Hunter was meeting with associates.

Archer’s testimony was devastating to the Biden crime family, despite Democrats insisting that he didn’t prove Joe Biden’s involvement.

Archer did not claim to have ever heard Joe Biden discussing business but said Hunter would use his father as a flex – and hearing the voice of the vice president on speed dial was enough to sell the ‘brand’ to foreign executives.

‘I can definitively say at particular dinners or meetings, he knew there were business associates,’ Archer told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson last week in an interview following his testimony.

‘I don’t know if it was an orchestrated call in or not. It certainly was powerful, though, because, you know, if you’re sitting with a foreign businessperson and you hear the vice president’s voice, that’s prize enough,’ Archer went on.

‘Sometimes it was the call was coming in and the speaker would go on,’ Archer said, detailing the conversations. ‘You understand D.C. right? So the power to have that access in that conversation – it’s not in a scheduled conference call and that’s a part of your family. That’s like the pinnacle of power in D.C.’

That is why Biden was angry with Doocy. He asked about the testimony by Archer and the phone calls.

So far, other networks are not interested in reporting on the House Oversight Committee’s findings. Joe is up for re-election and this is the kind of story that can get him tossed out of office. They don’t want that. They like the status quo.
