Jane Fonda says the answer to strict abortion laws is murder

Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin were guests on ABC’s The View Friday. Fonda did what she always does during interviews – she displayed her hatred for conservatives. In this case, it was her hatred of red states in general and the lawmakers in those states.

Fonda and Tomlin were promoting their latest movie, “Moving On.” During the chat with the women hosts around the table, Fonda was asked by Joy Behar what else people can do to protest the Dobbs ruling on Roe v Wade and sending abortion law decisions back to states. Fonda glibly replied, “murder.” Lily Tomlin didn’t hear that at first so she asked Fonda to repeat it, which she was happy to do. The women all laughed, including the token conservative, Alyssa Farah Griffin. She acted as though it was as funny of an answer as the other liberals did. This brought happiness to Sunny Hostin who cooed about Jane the Activist.

Funny, Jane’s traitorous days with the North Vietnamese during that war were not mentioned.

The murder answer was quickly downplayed by Joy Behar. She told the audience that Fonda was just kidding. Then Fonda looked like she wasn’t kidding at all. Fonda explained that “We’re not going back. I don’t care what the laws are.”

Behar then asked the 85-year-old Fonda what can be done aside from “marching” and protesting the overturning of Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court.

“Well, I’ve thought of murder,” Fonda said during cross-talk before her “Grace and Frankie” co-star Lily Tomlin asked her to repeat herself.

“Murder,” Fonda said again as the reliably liberal panel burst into laughter.

“She’s just kidding,” Behar said hastily, before motioning. “Wait a second… They’ll pick up on that and just run with it. She’s just kidding.”

You betcha we’re picking up on it. Why? Because we know she isn’t fully kidding with that remark. Fonda would be perfectly fine with eliminating conservative lawmakers and their ability to pass laws in the United States. Her look afterward was her honest reaction.

When Hostin shifted the conversation to activism, she mentioned climate change “which everyone seems to ignore.” What is she talking about? Climate is brought up in most discussions for the left and it’s blamed for everything, including the deaths of women and girls in Ukraine during Putin’s war in that country. Yes, really. Hillary Clinton said climate played a role in the suffering and deaths of women in Ukraine during a celebration of International Women’s Day in Abu Dhabi during a panel discussion that included Ukraine’s first lady Olena Zelenska.

The women wanted to talk about Fonda’s support of the Global Oceans Treaty on which she worked with Greenpeace. Negotiations went on for ten years before an agreement was made recently. It aims to put 30% of the seas into protected areas – marine sanctuaries – by 2030 through government regulations. Progressives can’t have enough regulations.

Fonda is a hero to the left, particularly to women on the left. The 85-year-old actress and activist can do no wrong as far as they are concerned. It looks like she’s sucked in Alyssa Farah Griffin. How embarrassing for Griffin, who once worked in the Trump administration for Mike Pence.
