The woman who spit in the face of an NYPD sergeant is exactly who you'd imagine her to be

You may have seen this clip online already. A woman shouting at an NYPD sergeant and then spitting in his face. Not a smart move it turns out as she quickly got arrested:

The NY Post reports Devina Singh is exactly the person you would imagine her to be. She’s a former NYU student who interned for Jerrold Nadler and has been arrested at two previous protests:

Singh has been collared before for allegedly resisting arrest at a September protest in Manhattan, police said. The next month, she was busted on unlawful assembly charges at a demonstration in Brooklyn…

Her page is also filled with posts about her social activism, including a rant that property “has no feeling … no value outside of what we assign it.”…

Her Facebook profile says she attended New York University and studied global public health and social work and worked as an intern for Congressman Jerrold Nadler for five months from 2018 to 2019…

On a Twitter account appearing to belong to Singh, she wrote in August, “As a whole, i rlly don’t like white ppl:)”

In a separate opinion piece, Bob McManus labeled her a “privileged, pain-in-ass anarchist.”

It would be hard to find a preener more suited to the moment than the chick this newspaper’s genius headline writers have tagged the Phlegm Fatale — Devina Singh, 24, of Schwenksville, Pennsylvania, who hangs at high-end swimming pools in Miami, gets busted at “peaceful protests” in Manhattan and smugly hurls hockers at cops.

She’s far from alone. In fact, another woman was arrested the same night for punching an NYPD Chief in the face:

Police say they arrested at least 50 people. Sources tell ABC News they were charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, unlawful assembly and obstruction government administration…

Police say Rachel Menard, 23, punched a two-star NYPD chief who was making an arrest in Greenwich Village.

The chief was arresting another person, William Beaudoin, in front of 16 Jones Street just before 10:30 p.m.

Menard allegedly punched the chief twice in the face. Beaudoin was attempting to stop police from arresting another person, who fled.

It’ll keep happening until the people who behave this way pay a price for it.
