Typical slimes propaganda, the surge is failing America is loosing, surrender while defeat is still possible…The editors of the times should be tried for sedition and treason.

I caught a piece of Countdown last night and the guest Olbermann had on flatly said that the surge was a big failure. Of course, Olberdork didn’t challenging him at all on that point.
It really is amazing how much these liberals want us to lose just so they can advance their political agenda. It’s sickening.

Well shoot. Looks like we don’t need Petraus to testify at all. Good thing we got the truth seeking sleuths at the NYT to tell us what is really going on.

Harry Reid Agrees. Surge report is all “Bush lies”
I got about a minute in before I just couldn’t take it anymore.

Notice the Olbermannesque references to “Mr. Bush” throughout the article. It is meant to irritate and it does. Petty stuff like that makes me angry.

Seven months after the New York Times says the “Surge” began, Pinch’s plaything has made only modest and sporadic gains in reporting accurately on Iraq and still has put into effect no change in plan to address the underlying problems of biased story telling, nor created an atmosphere for trusting anything published there.
This story, like all stories printed by the New York Times, should be verified by two independent sources before quoting. (Except for sports scores, which requires verification from only one independent source.) If sufficient time is not available to fact-check stories and fill in the large gaps of information omitted, it is better to get news elsewhere.

BAGHDAD, Sept. 8 — Seven months after the American-led troop “surge” began,
“SEVEN months” ????? The lies and distortions start in the FIRST HALF OF THE FIRST SENTENCE!!!
Gen. Petraeus was only confirmed (81 to 0) Jan 26, 2007. The full complement of additional ’surge’ troops was reached only this past June (not to mention full implementation of the new strategy, which is not done overnight), as I remember. Let’s see: July – one month, August – two months, September – 3 months. And I used only one hand.
Blowback
