If this attitude is taking over in our nation, perhaps we deserve to be ruled by traitorous, America-hating thugs like Osama Obama.

In truth, it doesn’t matter what allegedly “provoked” Hasan. Nothing justifies the murder of one innocent, much less 13. Any person who crosses any of the well-defined basic lines of civilization — and any religion that encourages/demands such line-crossing — loses the right to exist, IMO.

Hasan had spent six years dealing with the mental wreckage of war at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington and, since July, at Fort Hood’s Darnall Army Medical Center. His own susceptibility to mental problems was likely heightened because he was pretty much a loner: he wasn’t married or in a relationship.

I think the writer of this article should be quarantined, because he’s been dealing with the mental wreckage that was this murderer, and his susceptibility to mental problems is likely heightened because he is pretty much in an office filled with liberals all day every day.

President Obama has had no problems jumping to conclusions about everything from the stimulus (it was going to keep unemployment below 8 percent) to Honduras (the administration pronounced it a lawless coup when, as the answers came in, it was shown to be the opposite of that). In fact, based on what it acknowledged was no “specific information,” his Homeland Security Department concluded that the country was about to experience a surge of violence from “rightwing extremists.” I don’t know what further answers the president is going to need here, but it seems some pretty obvious conclusions are in order.

By the way, as Steve points out, CAIR has also weighed in. They say . . . we don’t know all the answers yet and we shouldn’t jump to conclusions.

If he were a Christian, the article would be all about his nutty right-wing extremism that victimized him and his own victims. Since he’s a Muslim, it has nothing to do with ideology. Instead, it’s all about post-traumatic stress from incidents that never produced trauma for him in the first place.

The article says this:

And then says this:

Exactly what role Hasan’s faith played in the shooting, if any, is unknown.

Given the latter, perhaps the writer shouldn’t speculate that the shooter might be upset about treating soldiers putatively “killing members of his own faith.” Indeed, such speculation says more about the writer than the shooter.

Try this on. He as a coward, plain and simple. A Major’s pay is a pretty good living. When it came time for him to stop practicing his job and actually deploy and do his job, he wanted no part of it.

And now he’s a murdering coward. Did it in the wrong place too. First the military, death penalty on the menu without a doubt. Second, if they farm this out to the civilian courts, he’s in Texas, death penalty and put a rush on it is exlusively on the Texas menu.
