I thought Reid said that Lieb wouldn’t filibuster? Now he won’t let ObamaCare go through?
Something stinks and I think it’s Ried’s!

Push ‘em back, push ‘em back, waaaaayyyyy back!

If Reid can’t get this turkey to the table by Thanksgiving, the chances of it passing in its current form are 0. They can’t continue this terrible bill during an election year, especially after all the Hope-Changey spirit is gone.
Mr. Reid,…meet the DEATH PANEL.

With the holidays, it’s not that much longer, right? I mean, vote this week?, then get down and dirty? I think it’s just a ploy to settle down the anger.

two to the body, one to the head, and repeat.

So this is what a death row inmate feels like after each stay of execution.

HillaryCare nuked the Dems in days of yore, but apparently the Donks have not learned their lesson.
So history repeats in the form of ObamaCare.
[fill in the blank]Care is a 1,000 pound boat anchor on a political dinghy.

I keep getting this picture of them trying to punch back twice as hard but whiffing every time.
John the Libertarian on November 3, 2009 at 6:39 PM
Is this the same Reid who said that Lieberman is on board now.
Good people of Nevada, please send this windbag home, to retire, never to be heard from again.
Schadenfreude on November 3, 2009 at 6:41 PM
Thereby creating a time bomb for the Dems in next year’s elections – one can only hope, anyway.

Stick a fork in Obamacare. It’s done.
lorien1973 on November 3, 2009 at 6:44 PM
So the demorats are just going to let thousands of people die every month because of politics? The savages!

Exactly! Where’s Alan Grayson to stop the Holocaust?!
John the Libertarian on November 3, 2009 at 6:48 PM
Dingy should get some pointers from Daschel.
He’s already got the simpering, hand wringing, sack-less, ineffectual wimp thing down. He just needs to get him some Sally Jesse Raphael frames for his glasses and then get his sorry ass booted to the curb while being the sitting Senate Majority Leader.
Good luck Harry…you incredible douche.

Well, I just got this news from aclj.org in their latest fundraising e-mail:
Anyone heard about this elsewhere?

Vote is supposed to be set for Thursday, but given the problems with the Blue Dogs on abortion and illegals, it’s not certain (regardless what Nan says about having the votes).
Wethal on November 3, 2009 at 6:58 PM
I just googled the Congressional calendar.
The House was supposed to adjourn last Friday 10/30.
Anyone know when Congress will end for 2009?
Chuck Schick on November 3, 2009 at 6:59 PM
Harry Ried is pledging to help the Administration the same way that Tom Daschel is helping the Administration. As a private citizen-K street ‘resource’ in a limo who has tax problems.

If this turkey dies, we will have something to be truly thankful for.
By the way, O/T, any news in the CA 10 election? That is supposed to go Dem but there have been rumblings that it could be a closer race than expected. Total shocker if we pull out a win there. It’s the district next to Pelosi’s.
I can dream, can’t I?
