Upon learning of his son’s death, the elder Mr. Alipour was told the family had to pay an equivalent of $3,000 as a “bullet fee”—a fee for the bullet used by security forces—before taking the body back, relatives said.
Mr. Alipour told officials that his entire possessions wouldn’t amount to $3,000, arguing they should waive the fee because he is a veteran of the Iran-Iraq war. According to relatives, morgue officials finally agreed, but demanded that the family do no funeral or burial in Tehran. Kaveh Alipour’s body was quietly transported to the city of Rasht, where there is family.

Eh. Nazis did the same thing. Deliver the ashes in a cigar box to the family with a bill.

Outrageous.
Kinda like us paying more taxes to support policies that are killing our country.

How the f**k can Obama talk with these EVIL people? If he does this BBQ and talks with the regime it will truly be a new low for our country.

Someone clever should think up a campaign with her photo and maybe some of the other kids murdered with some type of slogan like why is obama partying with their murderers. Make the design downloadable and free put it on t-shirts, put it on buttons.
Blake on June 23, 2009 at 10:27 AM
The kid was 19 years old but his dad says he was a veteran of the Iran Iraq war?
I’m sure this was only an excuse to get out of paying the “fee” but…

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/06/13/iran-demonstrations-viole_n_215189.html – Check out the first two entries on the Huffington Post blog, which despite being an apologist for Barry has actually been a good round-up of developments, especially shifting through Internet rumors. The first is the one of the students out in the streets protesting (it hasn’t really died down – it’s just gone to many small roving bands of people). And the second is one of Barry’s lefty allies (this time the AFL CIO), issuing a stronger statement about Iran than Barry. Perhaps we should ask the head of the AFL-CIO what he thinks about Barry inviting Iranian diplomats over for BBQ on July 4th.

Drudge has a headline of the Iranian Regime complaining about UN meddling (eeeewwwwww…UN meddling, time to tremble). Can we get the Chinese to meddle more on the US Federal deficits? Sure wold be nice if they would stopped feeding the beast.

The father is a veteran of the Iraq-Iran War. That makes the numbers work.

Gee, I wonder where they got this idea…didn’t Saddam used to do this? Bill the families of executed prisoners for the bullets used to kill them?
Cylor on June 23, 2009 at 10:53 AM
This is how pronouns work:
As the “Mr. Alipour” doing the speaking is the one who is still alive, we may presume that “his” and “he” refer to the same person (the father).

I’m beginning to see why Satan’s personal playground is called I RAN. Give these kids and their families amnesty then bomb the sh*t out of the RG strongholds…oh wait, that’s America hubris and meddling, progress is in the house now in DC.
RepubChica on June 23, 2009 at 11:23 AM
China charges a small fee for executed criminals after fair and just trials.
Hey, stop that! You were supposed to read the sentence above with a straight face.
Anyway, $3k for a bullet fee? Tells you what 30 years of Obama policies might get us.
raybury on June 23, 2009 at 11:33 AM
The bullet fee is just cold…and I used to work in the car business! It’s post-facto hit billing. Marq bar Basiij.
Kid from Brooklyn on June 23, 2009 at 11:45 AM
This is common practice for fascists. It’s intended to be cruel and degrading.
Cambodian Leftist Pol Pot, whom the Democrat Party gave a green light to murder 2 million people did the same thing while American state-run media blacked out the news because it was they who demanded we leave Pol Pot to live in peace.
Eventually, Pol Pot got impatient with bullets and ordered his National Civilian Security Force to hack people to death with machetes. For some reason, they saved the skulls of those millions of women and children.
More blood on Democrat Party hands.

Thought Question:
If Obama could keep such a program sanitized, and out of public view, do you think Obama would consider the potential social benefits of liquidating (1) physically weak or defective people, and later on, (2) political enemies?
And then a darker question, suppose he considered it and decided to implement this program. Can anyone here name an American political leader who would have the courage to stand up the the President, putting aside fear of the ultimate condemnation in America, the fear of being called a racist?
