Factor” brought in 4.6 million viewers, compared to “Countdown’s” 1.9 million.
Bill crushes Olby every night, but this time, who’d rather watch 0lby and 0bama sit there and have a love fest when they could watch Bill argue with him?
During competing interviews with presidential hopeful Barack Obama, Bill O’Reilly’s “The O’Reilly Factor” bested Keith Olbermann’s “Countdown” by more than double the amount of viewers, while MSNBC’s premiere of “The Rachel Maddow Show” beat CNN cornerstone “Larry King Live.”
The latter is actually a good thing. I’d never watch Maddow’s show, but Larry King is absolutely the most worthless program on TV, hands down.
fiatboomer on September 9, 2008 at 10:28 PM
I watched ‘em both and they both sucked.
malan89 on September 9, 2008 at 10:26 PM
I caught a few moments of Obama & Olbermann.
He blew.
(O’Reilly’s was better. Asked tough questions, didn’t throw him softballs.)
wise_man on September 9, 2008 at 10:30 PM
MSNBC did have something to boast about Monday, as the premiere of “The Rachel Maddow Show” at 9 p.m. Monday beat “Larry King Live” in total viewers. “Maddow” pulled in 1.5 million viewers, while “King” drove in 1.4 million. Ms. Maddow, a radio personality on Air America, replaced “Verdict With Dan Abrams” in the 9 p.m. time slot.
Hey, ya know what we need more of on MSNBC? More liberal hosts! That’ll bring us in five more viewers!

I would give my vote to Nancy Grace, with Larry King a solid #2…in more ways than one.

Olbermann actually admitted in The New Yorker piece on him that he sometimes stares out his window at the Fox News Headquarters right across the street and imagines screaming inside.
O…k….a…y.
Just keep walking and don’t look at him in the eye.

Do you think O’Reilly dances in front of his window in his underwear and sings “Whooohooooo!!!” to freak Olbermann out? Then again, that sounds more like a Gutfeld and Schulz thing….
From his [Olbermann's] desk, he can look out the window and see, directly across Sixth Avenue, the studios of Fox News, the broadcast home of his rival Bill O’Reilly. “Sometimes I imagine that I hear a howl coming from there,” Olbermann told me during a visit one afternoon.
I thought it was screams.
A howl?
Like I said, keep walking, head down, don’t make eye contact with him.

O’Reilly beats Olbermann, AKA Monday.
Maddow beat King? That’s gotta be the first time she’s ever licked a man.
See the humiliating spectacle of Olberdouche worship at the messiah’s feet or bear witness to a presidential candidate answering real questions from someone who won’t allow a tingle to run up his leg and affect his judgment. (Thanks Crissy, for the gift keeps on giving) Olby has been stroking BHO for months and his “interview” was the obligatory “ok, its your turn to kiss my ring – but make it quick” event.
Claypigeon on September 10, 2008 at 12:59 AM
Was there ever any doubt. O”Reilly may be a blowhard who’s in love with himself more than any other person but he’s far and away a much better commentator than Olberman.
Bill-O did not hit the One hard enough on Ayers. That Barry was mentored by Ayers is a matter of public record. Cornering Barry on that would have been huge.
“but Senator O’bama you started your first fundraising at his mansion that is public record.”
*boom*
or Barry would have finished starting the handjob he kept trying to start up.

Did anyone else notice that in the O’Reilly interview, Obama flopped back to saying he never heard anything controversial come out of Wright’s mouth?

I noticed when O’Reilly pushed it with the follow up question about how the tapes of Wright’s controversial sermons were on tape for sale in the foyer of the ‘church’ and Obama replied:
“What can I say?”
Blowback
