It will be heard by a 3 judge panel so 2 votes will be needed to reverse the trial court

This doesn't necessarily stay the prosecution. Judge Scott McAfee gave permission for the defense to immediately appeal his denial of a disqualification of Fani Willis and the Fulton County DA's office, but planned to continue with pre-trial motions in the meantime. The appellate court could order a stay, but has chosen not to do so for the time being.
Nevertheless, this is not good news for Willis, especially given the copious amount of evidence for a DQ allowed into the record by McAfee.
