“For a lot of them, it’s do or die,” Cooper said.

“Well, yeah, and especially when people are at zero or 1 percent, or whatever she might be at, and so I did expect I might take hits tonight,” Harris said.

As her team did when Gabbard called her unqualified to be Commander-in-Chief last week, Harris pointed to Gabbard’s record on Syria, calling her an “apologist” for Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad. Gabbard has met with Assad and said he is not an enemy of the U.S. She’s also questioned intelligence holding him responsible for brutal chemical attacks on his own people.

“I can only take what she says and her opinion so seriously,” Harris said.
