Brady has been outspoken in the past about his interest in politics. During a 2007 interview on CBS News’ “60 Minutes,” the star QB said that he considers himself to be an independent and has considered a future in politics once his football career ends.
His decision to skip the Patriots’ celebratory visit to the White House earlier this year led some to speculate that he was doing so for political reasons. It was later revealed that Brady skipped the trip because of a family obligation.
