Hamas official Osama Hamdan denies that the terror group had put forward new ideas for the US-backed proposal for a ceasefire and hostage deal in Gaza.
Hamdan, speaking to the pan-Arab Al-Araby TV, also says that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken was “part of the problem, not the solution” in the Gaza conflict.
Maybe Blinken will learn a lesson from this. If Hamas had not changed the terns of the deal significantly, as I wrote earlier, Blinken would have gone to the press immediately to take credit for the deal. So would the Qataris and Egyptians. None of them would talk about Hamas' response, though, and they're still not releasing any details. That tells us everything we need to know about Hamas' tactics, and about Blinken's idiotic gullibility too.
